Congratulations to Srishti K. Sabarinath, a 13-year-old from Aalborg, on being honoured with the Child and Youth Bookblogger of the Year Award at a festival in Aalborg, Denmark. The award, organised by the Danish public libraries, is decided through votes cast by book enthusiasts and members of the blogging community. Srishti has her family roots in Keralam and is a proud citizen of India happy to work for Indo-Danish friendship.
Through her acclaimed work as a book blogger, Srishti has encouraged young readers to engage with literature while fostering cross-cultural understanding and introducing Indian books and culture to Danish audiences. Beyond her work as a book blogger, she is an active youth leader serving with Ungeråd KBH and as Chairperson of the Copenhagen Youth Council.
We are proud to see young members of the Indian diaspora making meaningful contributions to literature, youth engagement, and cultural exchange in Denmark.

Triangle Folklore Festival, has conveyed that Panghat Performing Arts Group from India will be participating in this year's Triangle Folklore Festival in Vejle, Denmark.
Triangle Folklore Festival is an annual celebration of international culture, music, dance, and friendship, bringing together performers and volunteers from around the world.
It is a week of spectacular performances celebrating music, dance, traditions, and friendship from around the world. This year's festival welcomes performers from Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sierra Leone, USA, India, Turkey, Ecuador, Mexico, and Egypt.

A delegation led by Sh US Dhyani, Executive Director, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India #FSSAI visited Denmark to discuss bilateral cooperation in the fields of food safety and capacity building in the spirit of #GreenStrategicPartnership between India and Denmark.
The delegation participated in the inaugural round of Joint Working Group with their counterparts Danish Veterinary, Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Agency #DVFAFA. In the JWG both sides discussed a roadmap of collaboration for the current year and the next year.
The delegation visited multiple laboratories sites including in Aarhus and made a visit to Novonesis where they were briefed about the activities of the company in India and ongoing research and development efforts taken up by Novonesis in the area of new enzyme synthesis.

In such a challenging time, their efforts to serve those in need are shining examples of how medical professionals rise to the occasion every time our society faces a challenge.
On Doctors' Day, greetings to our dedicated doctors, whose hard work, compassion and commitment form the backbone of India's healthcare system. Their tireless efforts, often in the most challenging circumstances, have earned the trust and gratitude of countless people.
Over the last decade, India has made significant strides in strengthening our healthcare ecosystem. The number of medical colleges has more than doubled, while undergraduate and postgraduate medical seats have expanded substantially. Guru Mohanji briefed Ambassador on the work of the Mohanji Foundation across European countries and its upcoming centre in Denmark. Chairman, Banas Dairy & Hon'ble Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly Shri Shankar Chaudhary visited Denmark to meet leading companies in cattle health, feed and nutrition, reproduction and dairy technology and to interact with scientists and experts in Animal Husbandry from universities and reserach centres. In an interaction held at SPX Flow in Copenhagen, Denmark's leading company in flow processes, @ChaudhryShankar and the delegation accompanied with Amb @ManishPrabhat06 were briefed by Asst. Prof. Peter karlskov-Mortensen of Copenhagen University; and Prof. Haja Kadarmideen from Aarhus University on high value protein production from milk, sustainable indigenous cattle breeding programs and prospects for Indo-Danish collaboration including training programmes for scientists and technicians of Banas Dairy. The delegation was also briefed by SkillBridge Aps represented by Mr Suraj Nair on possible exposure visits of Indian agricuturists and dairy producers to Denmark.

His climate vision has been matched by progress at home as well. In 2025, India achieved over 50% cumulative installed electricity capacity from non-fossil fuel sources, reaching its Paris Agreement target five years ahead of schedule. Today, India ranks as the world's 3rd-largest producer of renewable energy and its installed solar power capacity has grown more than 53-fold over the past decade. Alongside the clean energy transition, India has also championed biodiversity conservation through initiatives such as the International Big Cat Alliance, reinforcing its commitment to protecting forests, wildlife and ecological balance.
