Medicaid fraud is a real problem happening in every single state, harming patients and draining taxpayer resources. @HouseCommerce is tackling fraud head-on.

On Wednesday, Chairman @USRepGaryPalmer held an Environment Subcommittee hearing on legislation to support domestic critical mineral recovery and recycling. Removing barriers to domestic recycling would allow the US to recover critical minerals from products we already have at home, ensuring American independence from foreign supply chains.

On Wednesday, our @HouseCommerce Subcommittee on Energy advanced the Ratepayer Protection Act to the full committee. This bill would codify @POTUS' Ratepayer Protection Pledge and protect Americans from footing the bill for any upgrades to energy infrastructure to support large load energy customers like data centers. We must win the race for AI dominance the right way. When a data center developer comes to town, they should do so eager to grow alongside a community, not looking for handouts at the expense of taxpayers.
