At 11:30 this morning, the Harris County District Attorney’s Fugitive Apprehension Section, in close coordination with multiple law enforcement agencies, took Andrew Taake into custody. Taake was wanted in Harris County for online solicitation of a minor, charged in May 2016.

On January 23, 2022, Rosales shot and killed Harris County Precinct 5 Deputy Corporal Charles Galloway during a traffic stop in west Houston. Days later, a massive manhunt for Rosales ended in Mexico.
Now, the jury will decide whether or not Rosales will be sentenced to death for killing Corporal Galloway.

Jennifer Chavis, a Precinct 7 deputy constable, died protecting all of us.
Last week, a jury found Adolfo Serrano GUILTY of killing her when he drove drunk into the back of her patrol SUV in April 2022.
The jury saw the shell of her burned out unit, watched dash cam video of the fiery crash, and heard witnesses say Serrano tried to run from the scene instead of helping Chavis.
Today, that jury decided Serrano should spend life in prison for what he did.
