Alamgir Khan Tareen was one of the good guys. In fact, probably the best! Very rarely do you come across someone as humble, noble and caring as he was. Always full of life, he had the unique ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable and special. I will always be indebted to him for the love and respect he gave me. I will forever cherish our late night calls where we discussed everything from cricket to music to cars to my kids' education to almond breads...
There are too many thoughts going through my mind at the moment and I'm trying to make sense of this all. I can't come to grips with the fact that I am referring to you in past-tense. The world is a poorer place because of your loss.

Today marks the end of my innings at the @MultanSultans franchise.
These past six years gave me an opportunity to combine my profession with my passion, to live a dream, and to interact with and learn from so many wonderful people. Team owners, players, coaches, sponsors, franchise staff - I am deeply indebted to each and every one of you.
They say people and experiences help shape who you become, and working with Alamgir Khan Tareen is something I will never be able to forget. Over the past couple of weeks, I have tried to find the right words to express my gratitude to him, to fully grasp with the reality of losing him, but I fail each time. Thank you for believing in me, Alamgir Sb., for inspiring me and for giving me a chance to build something as beautiful and meaningful as the Multan Sultans franchise. The franchise won’t be the same without you, Sir, and I feel like this is a huge reason why I now need to move on to a different challenge.
