Duncan McLaughlin flew all the way from Nova Scotia to attend the showcase. Topped out at 85MPH on the mound and 88MPH from the outfield! Very humble kid and found out about it through Baseball Guru. Love to see it!!

We play a 14 game regular season. Now the regular season doesn’t actually count and you can’t find any stats online but I am varsity. There’s this guy called the Baseball Guru that posts everything and I was tagged in a tweet last week, it’s a legit league I swear

I really got a new perspective on Elite Baseball this past season. I admit I was tough on Elite but I think it was due to the few bad apples out there. These are coaches that put in so much time into their passion. All they want to see is their players succeed in life.

If we get to have an OUA season this fall, the league is going to look quite different. Waterloo has recruited 15 players and Toronto at 14 these past 2 years. Other teams have added talent too. This fall will be the most talented the OUA has ever been.

I think it’s alarming how many baseball student athletes that don’t work in the summer months. Yes baseball is important but having some experience on your resume as you get out of school is worth more down the line. Also some decent coin you can make with 3-4 months off
