You'll never EVER forget where you were for Texas A&M 74, LSU 72. One of the greatest games in college football history ends in 7 overtimes at Kyle Field. Unbelievable.
This is what ESPN should be talking about with A&M. Place is absolutely packed to the gills. Fewer and fewer people are going to games and this place - despite all that took place in the last week - has turned out in full force! Special, special place and group of people. #Gigem
You can’t go on TV and essentially insinuate that another human deserved to be shot, and then keep your job on TV. No place on either side of the political aisle for that.
You can’t “fall in love with A&M and the 12th Man” and then go take that job. Clearly this was just a job for him. You don’t truly love Texas A&M and what it represents, and saw ‘em off after every game, and then go take that job. Unless this was just a job for you. 👎🏼
Little known fact: Aaron and Jordan Rodgers’ dad was born in Bryan, TX. Their grandfather worked on-campus for the Corps of Cadets in the 1950s…
Gig ‘em and Happy Thanksgiving! 👍🏼🦃
In Jimbo Fisher's 3rd season at FSU, the Seminoles won the Orange Bowl with a veteran QB in his last college game. The next year, they won the national title with a Redshirt freshman QB.
In Jimbo Fisher's 3rd season at A&M, the Aggies won the Orange Bowl with a veteran QB...
Note: A&M allowed 112 yards in the first quarter and 66 yards the rest of the game. Kentucky had zero snaps - ZERO SNAPS - on A&M's side of the 50-yardline in regulation. Incredible defensive effort.
I’m beyond delighted to announce that in a vote of 5-1-1, the College Station City Council has APPROVED our initiative to name the basketball court in the Castlegate Community “Alex Caruso Court!” It’s the neighborhood court where @ACFresh21 learned to play basketball! #Gigem
Look if he’s sick, play someone else. Two guys sitting there that have played only slightly less than him. If 15 is really sick and that’s why he was so “off” then he shouldn’t have been out there. Period.
He did it! Aggie @CGillaspia becomes 1st #12thMan ever selected in NFL Draft. Taken by hometown Texans in 7th round (Pick #220). In perfect "Gilly" fashion, his selection breaks A&M's record with 7 picks in a single Draft for the first time since Draft went to 7 rounds in '94.
Aggie defensive legend Tank Marshall has been in the hospital in Fort Worth for nearly a week with bleeding on his brain. He sent me this pic with a message that he is doing much better and is in good hands, but Tank wanted me to ask his Aggie Family to pray for him. 🙏🏼
If I’m a current player or player parent, I’d have a hard time leaving A&M - the school I signed with, played for in the CWS Final and love - and go play for my bitter rival and for a program who just created a huge distraction on the biggest day of my baseball life. 🤷🏼♂️
Note: A&M took a 15-point deficit into the fourth quarter and outscored Clemson 13-0 in the final period. Yards differential in fourth was 199-52. Passing yards differential was 206-5. Clemson offense in the fourth...

Came up short but made big progress tonight.
They’re carrying Zach Calzada off the field! Incredible! Do you remember a one-week turnaround like this at A&M…and a feel good story quite like this? Simply amazing guys from Zach!
Interesting Note: A&M quarterback Conner Weigman threw 132 passes in 5 games (4 starts) without an interception. The freshman passed for 896 yards and 8 TDs. Feels good to know who your QB is heading into the offseason ... especially when he's something special.
Nearly 102 years ago, the original #12thMan never went into the game and the Aggies won.
Tonight, the Aggies lost but the current 12th Man played his absolute tail off for basically every single snap on D. Impossible to represent that number better than Sam Mathews did tonight.
Certainly not trying to be a jerk but A&M has this on the bench. 4,000 yards with 35 TDs and 7 INTs at LSU as a true FR and SOPH with massive opt outs, injuries, etc. and a coach on the way out…against the SEC. That’s pretty darn impressive.
Get Schott, Prager & Evan A. back and keep your top hitters that went into portal, and it’ll be hard to find a team with more talent than A&M in ‘25…
Rotation:
Prager
Sdao
Lamkin
Back end bullpen:
Aschenbeck
Stewart
Top hitters:
Laviolette
Grahovac
Sorrell
Schott
Kent
Hensler
This makes the “act” against @RichardZane32 look even worse than Saban back in the day. Don’t know how anyone could be so blatantly dishonest and throw mud on a guy so publicly on his way to your arch enemy.
GameDay Crew: “UNC will cover the spread. A&M always plays close games.”
Fact: A&M has won 6 straight games by double digits. Last time that happened for the Aggies was 1993.
Little known factoid: A&M freshman running back and kick returner Jashaun Corbin (@Jashaun06) finished the year ranked #3 nationally and #1 in the Power 5 in kick return average (30.14 avg. on 14 returns).
Definitely a different feel at A&M football practice. No music and the head coach is involved and intense on every play. In 15 minutes, I saw Jimbo with QBs working on center/QB exchanges & handoffs, with the special teams coaching up both sides of ball, with kick coverage, etc.
You know what? When your head coach coaches “not to lose,” your team tends to play “not to lose.”
The result? You lost.
Pathetic. Year 6 and completely pathetic. How could anyone in their right mind apart from blind homerism or loyalty call this anything but totally pathetic?
And Penn State is a six-loss team. And they were starting a freshman back up quarterback. And Marcel Reed and A&M won by 21 points and didn’t take a miracle catch to win (and did it against a ranked team on the road).
The disrespect from the committee should not surprise anybody. We’ve seen it before in football. We’ve seen it in basketball. We’ve seen it in baseball. A&M has to earn anything they get from selection committees, and it has been like that for years.
Just. Keep. Winning.
CFP Selection Committee Chair Mack Rhoades on the Indiana vs Texas A&M discussion: "It was one of our longer discussions. Indiana, we gave them the edge defensively again and offensively as well. When you think of their body of work with wins at Oregon and Iowa. We certainly looked at A&M's win in South Bend and at Missouri. The committee talked about Missouri playing their third quarterback. Indiana found a way to find a way. Mendoza down the stretch was efficient. Those things gave Indiana the edge."
Unreal performance for Evan Aschenbeck! 4.2 innings of no-hit relief against Texas with a trip to the Regional final on the line. That dude just became an A&M Hall of Famer tonight! 🔥🔥🔥
Pretty neat observation: A young kid asked Buddy Johnson for his gloves after the game but he told him they were taped up. So he went into the locker room, cut off the tape, ran back out to find the boy and gave him the gloves. It’s the little things...
Thank you so much 12th man! We have the best fans in the nation. Love this team so much! Going to miss all the seniors. Those guys deserved it all! This is just the intro! We will be back stronger next year! #GigEm
Heather Dinich on the committee's thought process behind Indiana staying at No. 2 over Texas A&M: "I guarantee you people in that room care about how Fernando Mendoza willed Indiana to a win at Penn State."
Marcel Reed just led a 21-point blowout, if anyone in that room cares...
Andy Pettitte just accidentally knocked on my hotel room door. Quite a few Aggie parents at this hotel so I have to assume he thought it was Jeff Kent’s room.
Ags by 20 tomorrow! 🤣🤣🤣
Wade Taylor
Andy Garcia
Henry Coleman
Manny Obaseki
Zhuric Phelps
CJ Wilcher
Jace Carter
Hayden Hefner
This group was fun to watch for years and will be missed.
Moving forward…SO many questions surrounding the A&M program.
Will Buzz be here next year? Will he move on? Will he retire?
What will the roster look like with Payne and Washington as the only proven players returning (will either hit the portal?)?
Who can you bring in out of the portal to build around moving forward?
We should learn a lot about what the roster will look like in the coming weeks but one thing is for sure…it’ll be extremely hard to replace 8 seniors who have poured everything into this program. Sure, that group has their flaws but the grit and Texas Aggie fight was always on full display.
Wow what an interview with Marcel Reed postgame. Has a @JerrodJohnson1 level of eloquence and composure on a microphone and you have to believe that translates in a huddle and locker room.
Impressive performance. Impressive young man.
Let’s roll! 👍🏼
It’s like a wild movie twist. Suddenly, you realize that the villain is the good guy and the good guy is the bad guy. Never thought Now you see why Tony V. has so much dislike for the other #22.
I had no idea I would respect Tony Vitello more today than just 24 hours ago. It all makes sense why he referenced Dave Van Horn so much instead of Schloss. The reason is Dave Van Horn isn't a lying SOS.
A&M is in the #CWS Final Four for the second time in 3 years under @CoachSchloss. Prior to Schloss, the Aggies had 2 wins total in their history in Omaha.
Unreal.
GOOD.
A&M's offensive line has allowed a total of ONE sack through the first 3 games of the season. That includes playing back-to-back games vs. 2 top 5 opponents with ZERO sacks allowed in a combined 8 quarters vs. 'Bama and Florida.
Notes on WINNING...
* A&M has won 8 straight games ... the last 7 by double digits (first time doing that since '93).
* Ags are 26-4 under Jimbo when playing a team not ranked #1 or #2.
* A&M is 11-0 under Jimbo when it wins the TO battle.
* Fisher is 3-0 in Orange Bowls.
How is this not an ejection but A&M lost Debione Renfro for the entire game yesterday because his helmet grazed the helmet of a receiver with absolutely no ill-intent? He literally threw three punches.
That’s a great, potentially program-changing win for Elko and the Aggies! Had to dig deep for it and make some huge adjustments and very difficult decisions in order to pull it off. 5-0 in league play for the first time since 1998? Unreal! 👍🏼🔥
Never forget the 12 Aggies who lost their lives in the 1999 collapse...
Miranda Denise Adams ‘02
Christopher D. Breen ‘96
Michael Stephen Ebanks ‘03
Jeremy Richard Frampton ‘99
Jamie Lynn Hand ‘03
Christopher Lee Heard ‘03
Timothy Doran Kerlee, Jr ‘03
Lucas John Kimmel ‘03
Bryan A. McClain ‘02
Chad A. Powell ‘03
Jerry Don Self ‘01

Kellen Mond breaks A&M's career passing record in by far his best and most complete game from start to finish: 25-35-0; 338 yards; 3 TDs ... when he and his team needed it most!
Is this the best A&M win ever at Kyle Field? I was at ‘02 OU, ‘10 Nebraska, ‘18 LSU and tonight…there was also the ‘75 win over Texas and the ‘98 win over NU, and of course the ‘99 Bonfire Game vs. Texas is in a class by itself. But outside of that one, this has to be #1, right?
At this point, why not E-Rob and give him a blank check on coordinator hires? This is the best we’ve looked in any game since 2020. And with a third string QB no less.
Stat Note: A&M QB Kellen Mond was 9-of-10 passing for 124 yards over the final 13:48 of the game at Georgia, including his only TD. The one incomplete pass down the stretch? The clear defensive holding AND pass interference on the throw to Jalen Wydermyer that was not called.
Was Kellen ELITE-ELITE? No. But he was a very solid college QB who was durable as heck (missed one critical play his entire career)…and who loved A&M and busted it to turn the Aggies into a winner (which he did when A&M finished No. 4 with an Orange Bowl win in 2020).
One positive coming out of 'Bama 45, A&M 23 was the kicking game. Seth Small went 3-for-3 on field goals and Braden Mann set an NCAA single-game record with a 60.8 punting average.
No single human has poured even close to the amount of sweat equity into this program as @CoachHutchman26. Bring your kid to even one camp and you'll get to see all you need to know about what makes that guy such a special Aggie. Gig 'em, Hutch!
@CoachHutchman26 is THAT man. So proud of him. The entire time he was in Omaha he was in the hotel room working on camp, unless he was at practice or a game or handling all the other things he had to do during those 2 weeks.Truly, the hardest worker I have ever known.
Former A&M assistant and Louisiana HC Matt Deggs after the Regional Final loss to @AggieBaseball:
"We ran into a buzzsaw. That's by far the most talented team we've seen... I'll be rooting for these guys to win the whole thing."
Note: A&M's game-by-game rushing output in 7 games vs. Power 5 teams...
* 53 vs. Clemson
* 56 vs. Auburn
* 89 vs. Arkansas
* 125 vs. Alabama
* 165 vs. Ole Miss
* 207 vs. Mississippi State
* 319 vs. South Carolina
HISTORY: #Browns DE Myles Garrett is the first player in HISTORY to have 14+ sacks in 4 consecutive seasons.
🤯🤯🤯
MYLES GARRETT. FIRST BALLOT HALL OF FAMER.
Is this kid A&M women’s basketball’s Acie Law or what??? All she does is step up in the clutch and make huge freaking shots. Unreal. Simply unreal. 35 points for Nixon and the Aggies needed every single one of them.
We’ll never forget this team. A TEAM. That word best defines Aggie Baseball 2024. So many things went against the Aggies down the stretch but they battled their guts out all the way to the bitter end. Vols were 1-2 big swings, pitches, plays better. We’ll be back. #GigEm
I’ve asked several former yell leaders for their thoughts and not one of them is against it. If they’re all for it, then I’m all for it. Very … different … but it’s 2025 and it’s a black-out at Kyle. Let do it! 🔥🔥🔥
This offensive performance showed us nothing of note that should excite us. Looked not much better at all than the garbage we saw the previous 3 years. Ugly showing on that side of the ball. Absolutely abysmal QB play. Not all on him though…nothing worked all night.
Unreal! How about a four-man rotation that looks something like…
Prager
Sdao
Patton
Lamkin
I don’t see how A&M isn’t the most talented roster in college baseball entering 2025… 👍🏼
Note: Trayveon Williams rushed 35 times for 198 yards & 2 TDs. It's the 3rd straight game he's rushed for 150+. He's rushed for 700 yards and 7 TDs in his last 4 games. Williams sits at 1,524 rushing yards in '18...169 yards away from the single-season A&M record (Lewis - 1,692).
The College Station Kid is now an NBA Champion! BIG Congrats to @aggiembk great Alex Caruso (@ACFresh21) on becoming the first Aggie in 62 years to win an NBA title! #GigEm
