• Carve Out at least 9 New Republican Strongholds: Redistrict congressional maps to secure nine unassailable GOP seats, cementing Republican dominance in DC. Trump’s EOs must be codified into law, or the Uni-party will destroy his successes!
• Overhaul the Texas House: Redraw House Districts to reduce Democrat footholds, ensuring super-majority Republican control and then – for the love of God – use it to put Texas families and small businesses ahead of corporate welfare and growing gov't.
• Strip Every Democrat of Power: Ban Democrats from chair and vice chair leadership positions. Their influence should end now – not after the special session is over.
• Erase Democrat Seniority: Wipe out their years of tenure, stripping them of any clout in committees or leadership.
• Block Every Democrat Bill: House Speaker Burrows is currently pushing forward bills from Democrats who broke quorum! Stop with the chummy photo ops! Take a stand for the people NOW and call on Burrows to reject every single bill authored by Democrats, sending a clear message – their agenda is dead on arrival.
• Expel the Deserters: Republican leaders should STOP making promises they don’t intend to deliver! For all the grandstanding by Republican leaders, not one Democrat has been punished.
This is a war – fight to win! The grassroots have drawn the line. If the @TexasGOP refuses to act decisively with the full might and support of Texas conservatives, they will render themselves meaningless.

Texas Red Team Unity without Accountability? Not so fast!
Efforts of the State Republican Executive Committee’s (SREC) Legislative Task Force to provide guidance to local County and District GOP Committees on passing resolutions of censure for wayward Republican legislators are commendable. However, RPT leadership has unfortunately sent very mixed signals:
First, RPT Chairman Abraham George’s decision to submit the draft Legislative Task Force Report to the very Republican legislators whose offenses landed them in the censure target zone in the first place raises concerns about the integrity and the seriousness of the process. When the fox leaves the hen house, would you ask him how many eggs he didn’t take?
Next, Mr. George’s letter to Republican legislators is very submissive in tone and content – “I really want to unify with you even though you didn’t support our priorities and you broke party rules to elect House Speaker Burrows.” These aren’t children needing a time out! These are intentional actions taken by Republican officials that harm our families and small businesses, grow Big Gov't and corporate welfare, fail election integrity, fail to prepare TX for a post-Trump border, and keep us paying the tab for illegals! Tolerating institutional failure erodes our sovereignty and our liberty.
Next, Chairman George’s opening statement at last weekend's SREC meeting in the State Capitol made it clear he doesn't want to offend any Republican legislators. He was quick to assure them that the first campaign school wasn’t about replacing Republicans but about replacing the Democrats that fled the state to throw a wrench in redistricting. What? Unlike the MAGA grassroots, Mr. George misses the point completely – elected Republicans enabled fleeing Democrats to shut down the redistricting effort without penalty. Endless talk and table-pounding with no results is a rapidly shrinking fig leaf. MAGA conservatives cannot unify around that!
Last, this looks like a thinly veiled plan to defeat the MAGA grassroots who’ve had enough of Republican disloyalty! Why would Chairman George pat wayward Republican legislators on the head and thank them for killing so many reform bills that the grassroots worked their guts out for?
The RPT leadership should not continue on the excuse-making path for the well documented failures of the 89th session. The grassroots KNOW what did and did not pass, and they know WHY. Making excuses for failure to pass legislation on the majority of the March 2024 GOP Primary ballot initiatives that gained overwhelming support of GOP voters is not a wise step. We recommend a fast course correction.
Uniting around the quest for results for all those strong values and reforms in the MAGA Republican Platform? We can do that! Uniting for the re-election of wayward Republican incumbents with NO ACCOUNTABILITY? We won't support that foolhardy effort because that’s

Rep. Matt Schaefer’s statement on the impeachment proceedings against Attorney General Ken Paxton:
“I have grave concerns with the process that has been used in the impeachment investigation of Attorney General Ken Paxton. Under the direction of Speaker Phelan, the House Committee on General Investigating has conducted its business for many weeks outside the knowledge of rank and file members of the Texas House. To my knowledge not a single member of the Texas House has interviewed, or directed questions to a single witness, and that includes members of the General Investigating Committee. All interviews were conducted by hired staff. Nor have any transcripts of interviews with witnesses conducted by committee staff been provided to the members of the full House. Nor have members been provided with substantiating documents. To be clear, the full Texas House has not heard any testimony from witnesses, nor have we been provided transcripts of such testimony. As I write this, I cannot determine whether those witnesses were under oath when they were interviewed by staff. I asked two members of the committee and they did not know the answer. Furthermore, it is the stated intent of Speaker Phelan and Chairman Murr that no direct evidence will be provided to the full House when the articles of impeachment are called up for consideration. Texas Government Code Sec. 665.005 states that the full house may compel testimony. The only transcript that has been provided to the full House was the transcript of staff members of the General Investigating Committee presenting an account of their findings to the committee on May 24th, 2023. After speaking to the parliamentarian of the House, reading the transcript, and asking questions to some members of the General Investigating Committee, I believe this process is being rushed. I do not believe that members of the House have a good understanding of the adequacy, legality, or fairness of the impeachment process. We are being asked to vote on impeachment tomorrow, Saturday, May 27th while in the midst of considering the House budget, and many other legislative items of great importance. I am deeply disturbed by the way this is being handled. Political considerations seem to be involved. The weight of the decision we face as members of the Texas House of Representatives is enormous. The practical consequence of impeaching the Attorney General is to overturn an election decided by the voters of Texas. Many (but not all) of the allegations in the impeachment resolution were known to some extent by the voting public at the time of the election. I publicly opposed Ken Paxton’s re-election in the Republican primary, and I called out his very serious moral and legal failings. But if it is right to impeach Ken Paxton, it is being done in the wrong way. Barring a drastic change in the nature of the House proceedings on impeachment, I will be voting no. I will vote no because I do not have confidence in the procedure. This impeachment procedure may be a significant departure from the due process considerations afforded during similar proceedings in Texas history. I cannot vote to impeach when the members of the full House have had no direct access to witnesses or supporting documents, and have had no time to properly prepare and understand the matters in question. The simple truth is that the evidentiary basis to impeach Attorney General Paxton has not been properly established. Process matters.”

Because unity without results is just empty talk. Texans have overwhelmingly embraced the MAGA movement and stand with our President in securing the border. Yet of the eleven LP-endorsed border enforcement bills, only one became law—and that happened only because Texas was sued by the Trump Administration. One constitutional amendment on bail reform passed and will go to the voters. The other nine? Dead on arrival.
This record is not a cause for unity—it’s a reason for accountability.
