We had another day of really great conversations directly with legislators about #AB659, we asked the language for the HPV mandate be removed as it only creates more barriers for kids to continue their education and to have the language clarified on letters to sent to parents that the HPV shot is not required. Thank you for continued work in protecting children in California and as we take this victory we also recognize this amendment wasn’t enough. @freedom.angels2 asked for one amendment, to remove the mandate altogether. The bill has now shifted to target young adults in college, our request is still the same .. remove the language of the mandate. Legislators should know what Merck knows and until documents are unsealed showing their falsifying of the safety and efficacy there shouldn’t be a vote to add this to the adult schedule. San Joaquin county board of supervisor @gordov3314 has released his public position on #AB659. Opposition from not just parents and concern Californians but opposition from elected representatives, doctors, and scientist should tell these legislators they need to fix the bill

#AB665 is waiting to be heard in senate judiciary. This bill would allow mental health professionals to remove children and place them into alternative housing without parental knowledge, and it removes a guard rails where proof of abuse or allegations of abuse have to be on record before removal of a child. This does not affect one certain demographic, this will force medical emancipation of all 12 year olds in the state of California and remove parental rights from every parent in the state at age 12.
