We had to say goodbye to our beautiful Greyhound Lucrezia today. Cancer had spread throughout her body.
She was a retired racer-loved the childrens hospital & still ran 42 MPH. A classy princess who believed herself to be a lap dog. Our hearts are broken. Run girl,run!!

Heartbreaking day yesterday- we said goodbye to our beloved “Charlie”. His life was an adventure-abandoned in Spain, spent 3 years in a shelter, made his way as a foster to the U.S. & finally finding us. We feel like the 6+ years that we had him were his best. Love you Charlie!

I met a real-life super hero today. This is Esperasa, she gave birth 10 days ago & due to conflict had to flee her village. She traveled 4 days by bus to get her son to the @CUREIntl hospital in Mbale, Uganda.

How is the #KeyBridge gone? My Dad & I drove over it twice a day-my Mom had booted me out during my Senior HS year-so Dad drove me about 80 miles round trip to school everyday-over the bridge. He came through for me during a very rough time-that bridge will always be special.

It was a sad day at our house. We had to say goodbye to our Aussie Mattie. She had lymphoma, and it hit her very quickly. When we got her, the people at the shelter said “Dog, You hit the lottery!” The opposite is true, we hit the lottery with her. Miss you Mattie girl!
