Where I work- we(white/asian men) make the systems and improve tooling, then they hire cheap low skilled labor while laying off older experience people, we then have a product loss, so we hire high skilled to fix it, rinse and repeat.

We started welding rebar on the culvert entrances after a few of these. Mine was 600lbs of HME pressure plate. Luckily they had the plate set up poorly so it only removed the engine block from an MRAP 😂. We did have a few more serious incidents. I'd take a gunfight over IEDs any day of the week. Glad you mad it out ok.

I have also worked at after school programs for refugees in some the worst neighborhoods in the Portland Metro area.
This has not changed my opinions on the deportations of illegals.
If you want to improve the immigration policies of the US, you first must secure the border and remove those who have entered illegally.
If you don't do this then you are slapping the face of every single person who has entered the correct and legal way. Everyone who worked for many years to become a citizen.
