Custom player models in CSGO is, unfortunately, game breaking. The only way this idea works is an option to disable it. Sorry. I know this isn’t what Valve wants to hear. The idea is bad for gameplay. Mappers pick certain skins (.kv file) because they want clear contrast

What do I think needs to happen for custom maps in @CSGO ? Community investment. And I mean investment literally. Let the community steer things with their dollars, not just playtime. Money money money. Money is the one thing completely absent ATM, and that’s very unusual.
