Your Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) engaged in a pursuit of a vehicle that resulted in the arrest of two suspected drug dealers. The pursuit concluded when FHP executed a successful PIT maneuver, safely disabling the fleeing vehicle. The driver, who has a prior history of assault on a law enforcement officer, and the passenger were both taken into custody. They now face a long list of serious charges, including aggravated fleeing to elude law enforcement and numerous drug related felonies.

FHP remembers Patrick Ambroise, who died in the line of duty on May 15, 2010. Trooper Ambroise died in the line of duty as a result of a vehicle crash. At the time of his death, Trooper Ambroise was 35 years old and had served with the Florida Highway Patrol, for 4 years. #FHP
