I want to start an organization to teach young boys and girls healthy ways to deal with depression and anxiety.
Something I wish was available to the kids in my community growing up.
I remember the first time I saw a Stanley Whitney painting and someone telling me he was a black artist.
I was surprised because I recognized “black art” as only works that included paintings of black bodies, my love for abstract art started that day. Thank you Mr. Whitney.
Every time there is a high profile divorce, people try to discredit how much a wife may have contributed to their husband’s success and how much of their own success they’ve had to sacrifice because of it.
Had a crazy full circle moment... spoke at Facebook HQ today.
When I was homeless in high school, I discovered Zuck & Facebook and it intro’d me to a new hustle outside of sports, rap or the drug game.
That inspired me to pursue a career in tech, the rest is history.
"hi.
just texting you because I care about you as a person and want to genuinely make sure you're doing well. not because I want/need something from you"

the anxiety that can create can be overwhelming at times, you have to learn how to say "no"
Today @Forbes asked me to be a keynote speaker for their company wide internal meeting. I told my personal journey through the use of hip-hop lyrics that included “Forbes” 😅
Was a good Monday, grateful.

We have some of the biggest media companies centered around “culture” run by people who ain’t really for the culture.
every tech IPO is a reminder that my true goal is to create a diverse company that whenever we exit, will create a bunch of new black/brown millionaires whom I hope to inspire to invest in other entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.

the greats ones learn how to reinvent themselves and continue to stay relevant and consistent over time.
Honored to receive the “Power of Influence” from @bprsla at their 20th Anniversary celebration as well as receive recognition from the City of Los Angeles for my achievements and influence on African American culture.
Humbled and appreciative. Will keep pushing forward.
Proud to announce that I’m officially moving to NY and joining @Artsy as their new CMO.
My dream for democratizing the art world and making art more accessible directly aligns with Artsy's mission.
Excited for this next step in my journey.
“Don’t try to blow out the sun for me baby, I’m not asking for what I know can’t be...
All that I ask is a kiss a day, and I’ll give you love that’ll never go away”
- Nina Simone
I really pray for those on social media constantly being negative and trying to tear people down. The comment sections really make me sick.
Y'all need hugs?
Got invited by Retna to his studio and spent hours with him talking about life and art. At the end he agreed to commission a personalized piece for me.
The piece is called “Relentless” which anyone who knows me, knows that’s my word. Honored to have this in my collection.
Proud to announce my official partnership with @Intel. I’ll be helping my fellow mobile go-getters learn how to utilize technology like the all new #DellXPS13 2-in-1 laptop to chase their dreams and make life easier. We are #MoreThan just entrepreneurs. Let’s win together.

I have a number in my head and when I hit that number...
I’m disappearing on an island somewhere playing vinyl records, painting terribly on canvases, eating carbs, and figuring out how to change the world from a philanthropic perspective.
“Been here for 10, but I feel like a rookie...”
Started my first company almost 10 years ago after having to drop out of college. Frustrated by people not giving me a chance, I was motivated to make my own way.
10 years later, still hungry as ever. I’m just getting started.
