COpE, the Portuguese #Space Surveillance and Tracking Operations Centre, is located at Terceira Island, Azores. The centre operates the network of national sensors remotely and processes the data coming from them, which is then delivered to the #EUSST Database on a daily basis.

TAROT-CALERN is a telescope located in mainland France owned by @CNRS. Under the control of @CNES, it provides measurements for #EUSST of 200 distinct #space objects per night in MEO, GEO and GTO. It can also follow up some objects for active debris removal or docking.

This has certainly been an intense week for #EUSST; however our work is not over yet. We will continue analysing the fragments and potential risks through the Fragmentation Analysis service, and the Collision Avoidance service will support operators with any close approaches.
