Erith & Belvedere are so proud to say Stuart Webb (1st team asst coach) saw a man having a heart attack in his car and Stuart gave the man chest compression kept him breathing until the ambulance arrived and took over. Stuart saved the man's life who is recovering in hospital.

✍🏼🚨| NEW SIGNING
The Deres are delighted that Sam Groombridge has agreed to come onboard for the 2025/26 season as our First Team coach working alongside joint Managers Billy Hamlin and Jamie Phipps.
A Sidcup-born player who started his career with Gravesend & Northfleet and progressed through the club’s junior ranks into the first team squad during the 2004/05 campaign.
Sam then went on to have a successful playing career with previous clubs Gravesend & Northfleet, Sevenoaks Town, Chatham Town, Maidstone United, Erith & Belvedere and Corinthian. He was part of the Deres squad that won the double in 2012/13 season with now chairman Paul Springett and then rejoined in 2014/15 as assistant manager in the Deres historic FA Vase Run.
Since finishing playing Groomy has had a successful spell as coach at The Deres before moving on to Corinthian FC which resulted in promotion to the Isthmian League and also further spells at Rusthall FC and Epsom and Ewell FC. Sam is a UEFA B qualified football coach and brings with him a wealth of experience.
