On Jan. 28, 2025, at 8:45 a.m. CST, Chief Test Pilot Tristan “Geppetto” Brandenburg will break the sound barrier in
#XB1 – going Mach 1.1 – at 34,000 ft. in the Bell X-1 Supersonic Corridor and the Black Mountain Supersonic Corridor in Mojave, California. The flight is estimated to last 30-45 minutes.
