High School sprint phenom and football star @brandonjubie2 plans to early enroll at Texas A&M this January, forgoing his senior track and field season at Mount Miguel CA.
Arrington Jr. confirmed with DyeStat Tuesday morning he will not be competing for the Aggies' track team this spring but intends to be on the track team in 2027.
Arrington Jr. ran 10.21 in the 100m and 20.35 in the 200m as a junior last track season. Arrington Jr. broke Noah Lyles' 200m meet record at the Arcadia Invitational in April.

Clyde Hart, hall of fame coach for @baylortrack and numerous world-class athletes, passed away Saturday at the age of 91.
For 56 years, Hart guided the Bears’ program to new heights, especially in the 400m. He coached his 4x400m relay teams to 20 national titles, which built Baylor’s reputation of being “Quarter-Miler U”. He also coached 14 individual national champions and 566 All-American performances.
Hart also coached nine Olympians who earned 13 gold medals, including athletes like Michael Johnson, Sanya Richards-Ross and Jeremy Wariner.
