USIBC organized the 5th US-India AI Task Force yesterday in Bengaluru. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Seth Center, Acting Special Envoy for Critical and Emerging Technology; @DrCaur, Secretary, @ITBTGoK; and Mr. Christopher Hodges, U.S. Consul General in Chennai (@USAndChennai).
The meeting brought together industry experts including startups and officials from the U.S. and Indian governments. Building on discussions from previous sessions, participants explored how USIBC and the Task Force can further support the AI ecosystems in both countries.
The US-India AI Task Force focuses on synchronizing efforts between the public and private sectors, aligning U.S.-India policies, advancing AI technologies, and fostering commercialization. It also examines the AI business landscape and identifies incentives to promote policy alignment.
