We have thought for a week that my 101+ yr old Dad is in his last few hours of life. 5:20am this morn phone rang. His cell. Thought the sitter had bad news. Dad says “ you gotta come explain that game to me”. Be right there Dad. #HailState

Lost my 101 yr old dad yesterday. In my career I have dealt with PHD’s, Head Coaches, and other smart people, but this man is by far the smartest I have ever known. He instilled in each of his family that nothing is free in life. You work. I thank God each day that he is my dad.

In 40 years of transporting MSU teams and coaches, I never had one want to talk on the gameday trip from team hotel to stadium until Coach Leach. We talked about everything, all initiated by him. I miss him and his brilliant, inquisitive mind each day. RIP, my friend.
A year ago we lost too soon a college football icon, a coaching legend, and an even better person.

Going through things at my 101 year old Dad’s house and found interesting stuff. MSU student tickets for 1937-38 and 1938-39 school years. Mint condition. The first year not replaced if lost. Second year entire book replaced for a dollar. Says nothing about Bulldog Club points.
