Guiding the next generation of hoopers. Truth from the grassroots trenches. SAF. Courage on the Court Bball Training. Thoughts represent me and nobody else.
My daughter Avery’s first time traveling out of state for basketball. 12yrs old playing 14u GUAA. Grateful that she got to compete against some of the best programs in the country with her teammates. Back to the work.
You realize men contribute and support the WNBA more than women statistically. It’s there are a particular group of women who are hating on a generational talent. It’s the weirdest modern day sports phenomenon.
Honestly one of my best friends told me something about a decade ago in his first corporate role.. He said “These white people expect higher salaries with confidence while I’m over here grateful that I got the job. I think it started with how we were raised.” Now he negotiates his worth and probably makes around 300k per yr.
First part of the video gets me heated just watching. Hate when people bully man. I’ve always told my kids they better not ever be cool with that behavior
It says something about the human mind.. I have seen countless times at big meets where somebody falls and somehow wills themselves back. There should be a study on this. They almost run better due to the adversity.
People who have young high performing kids hate this convo. People who have kids who are struggling LOVE this convo.
But there’s truth to it. Pre-puberty success does not equal long term success.
I had a high school coach that could tell you just about what play they were going to run based on formation and the habits of the players. Y’all gotta stop? Have y’all ever played football? We had film meetings EVERYday lol
I was literally thinking the same thing. It’s honestly a dumb convo. You making $50 mil is enough for generations. At that point I’m pretty sure you can make decisions based on personal preference vs money alone.
I asked UTSA Head Coach Jeff Traylor to comment on my report of being offered a Power 5 job. Traylor: “I’m good where I am… I made a commitment here and I’m still sticking to it”
Okay this is my Alma mater so I’m going to speak on it… College Track standards are getting out of hand unless you about to give target recruits 100% scholly. Ain’t no way you getting a 52.5 400m for partial lol.
Missing 1 in the pic. Man I’m absolutely proud of these girls. Faced all kinds of adversity and grew! Came back to send a game to OT and won it as a team. @SAFinestbball
Spot on. Since I was younger it would blow my mind that people would rob corner stores for few hundred dollars. When you could make that in a day cutting yards.
The is one of the worst takes I have ever read in football. Next time there is a defensive pass interference on a go route, we should take a look at awarding them a touchdown. Smh lol
Proud of these girls. Went 5-0 on the weekend in Dallas and won their division. They shared the ball, shot the ball well and played hard all weekend. @SAFinestbball#finest It’s all about the growth.
4th grade and below squad. These girls lost in the championship today in a close game against boys. Some great lessons. But super proud of their fight and progress. Missing 2 not pictured. @SAFinestbball
It’s called entertainment. Switch the channel if you don’t like. How capitalism works in a free market. Why everybody tries to cancel everybody is the weirdest thing.
1.) “Their” weekends is a western society privilege. In other society’s kids are helping the family business, maintain the home or other community chores.
2.) Giving kids responsibility is not servitude lol. But go ahead.
Did you think Texas was going to beat Bama on the road? Or Wash beat Oregon twice? Or Bama beat Georgia?
Vegas didn’t think so. But it doesn’t matter what people think. It’s what they earn on the field.
Avery got recognized for her part in breaking the 4x400m National record and Quinn won the spirit award for doing good in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100, 4x400m and Turbo Jav throughout the season.
I love how my daughter has been at Junior Olympics this week and she’s received several FaceTimes and videos from her @SAFinestbball teammates showing support and rooting for her. Special bonds 🤞🏽
The biggest miss in basketball is not making your athlete a better ATHLETE.
The better they can move, faster they can sprint, higher they can jump will only complement their skillset…
