My first job on the early 80s was with a major global service provider to the oil and gas industry. On the first day myself and a female colleague that was starting the same day were getting our induction from HR. She was 18 or 19 years old.
We were given the usual stuff, where the toilets are kitchen rules, where to muster in then event of a fire etc as well as introduced to the people we'd be working with.
The HR woman doing the induction pointed to one office and told the female inductee - "now you need to watch yourself with him" pointing to the office of a manager. "he has wandering hands, so don't find yourself alone with him."
That was HR effectively telling a young girl at the start of her career that the company employed a known sex-pest and it was on her, not the company to deal with it.
Some things never change.

However, the Orange Order (AKA Walking with Dinosaurs) are planning a hate file waddle through Stonehaven later this year. From 2007-1014 the SNP ran a competent government. They had transformative polices like abolishing University fees and free prescriptions. The got things built like the AWPR, borders railway. They persuaded NO voters to vote SNP because they were a safe pair of hands, irrespective of their constitutional position.
In the 9 years since, the SNP have managed to create a situation where even YES voters are increasingly unlikely to vote for them.
Grown up politics has been replaced by a student debating society. Capable politicians have been ditched to make way for the likes of likes of Karen 'wax on, wax off' Adam. MPs tell Parliamentary Select Committees they don't know what chromosomes they have and go on to speak about their genitals. Legal expertise replaced by interpretive dance.
As a party they are totally lost. Beyond saving. The sooner the wider YES movement realises this and plans for an future without them the better.
