got invited last night to join playtesting for the first @pixelvault_ game: battle plan
the strategy is so deep, it took 2-3 plays to get my footing on everything that was going on... heavily skill based and challenging but in the best way
the animation is very polished, music is cool and UI/UX is clean, very colorful almost like seeing a comic book come to life
i think when you consider eventual ownership/trading of skill cards, loadouts, characters etc., this is what web3 games should look like... you present possibilities that only something built on the blockchain can take advantage of
as far as expectations vs reality i think it is better than i anticipated because the strategic element is just significantly deeper than i expected, like there's gonna be some serious analysis that goes into the game by community/players... streamers are gonna have content for days
really reeeeally liking what i have seen so far, can't wait to see once all the features go live... also loving the focus on pure strategy over fast-twitch reactions, allows for deeper focus on builds and mixing/matching characters with skills/loadouts
