God is Good. He blessed us with amazing family that came in to town to bless my brother. My brother has been fighting 2 years and 10 months. 7 strokes, 2 blood clots, multiple life saving surgeries and many heartbreaking months of bedside travailing continuously and trusting God for miracle after miracle. One major miracle we found out yesterday was that one of his wounds is about to heal up completely after 2 years! The other blessing... Having my Uncle Terry & Aunty Linda, my cousins Mike and Keri with all our kids sitting around my brother singing worship songs that my Grandma taught us way back in a day on that beautiful town of Pahala, Hawaii. For those in the struggle that feel that there is no light at the end of the tunnel... I encourage you to read John 5:1-15 Sometimes Chronological time seems like it's the authority when it comes to God and his desire to heal us ... But the Greeks have a Kairos time that best gives us a perspective on how God's timing supercedes our understanding especially in the area of healing. I hope you all have a BLESSED Sunday!

Why does it have to always be Democrats versus Republicans? Both sides have corruption and poor management of our country. To say that one is cleaner than the other is like two people sitting in a sewer and both saying one is stinker than the other.

One of the proudest moments in my life: We opened a drug and alcohol rehab center in Hawai'i. Those of you that may not know our relationship with alcohol and drug addiction... It's very real and very close. My oldest daughter was a victim of severe drug abuse prior to birth. (from her biological mom... in which we later adopted her, more on that story later) My wife who at one part of her life battled with the use of Crystal Methamphetamine. In both of our families we have generational alcoholic abuse. With those hurdles in place even before we started our family one can see how difficult life may be right out the starting gate. By the grace of God we triumphed. Here is part of that story: In 2019 I was able to take out an early retirement from my job (which I loved) take our oldest daughter to college... My Dad found my brother on the floor in his room face down, unconscious. My dad was in shock. I got a phone call while in Hawai'i - My dad said my brother was still on the floor. I ended up calling 911 services in Oregon from Hawaii. My brothers name is Bryson♥️ He had suffered 7 strokes, 2 blood clots one in the cerebellum and one in the mid brain. If you're not familiar with blood clots like this it prevents you from using blood thinners because of the risk of bleeding in the brain. Well, the very next day I flew from Honolulu to Portland and drove 3 hours to be with him at the hospital. My brother has been in the hospital ever since. It's been two years. He was admitted on October 12, 2021. It been a life changing humbling experience for my whole family. I moved my whole family to Oregon to be with him because the back and forth travel to Hawaii and Oregon was too taxing on them. Even though we still have commitments back home in the islands.... My brother took priority. He's all I have. No other brothers or sisters. It's just me and him and Dad. Through all of this he is continually FIGHTING every single day. And that's why we are by his side. When I feel like life is hard.... I'm reminded of the battle my brother has been fighting for the past two years. He has been making measurable progress and we will continue to pray and believe for complete restoration. I will share updates via Livestream in the near future. Twitter bought the Livestream app Periscope which enabled livestreaming within what we now called X. This was 8 years ago. The founder Kayvon sold the app before it was officially launched. (ballpark of 100 million dollars) Kayvons mission was to empower citizen journalism as well as give people the power to travel the world in their hands. There used to be a MAP feature where you can click anywhere in the world and transport there. He coined it a "Transportation Device" After years of poor management of their business Twitter decided to close the standalone Periscope app in 2021 and keep the skeletal Livestream features in the Twitter app. (More irony on this later) Ironically Keyvon is the one who headed up the team that developed Spaces. All of you #SpacesHost can thank him. (the source code is still Periscope found on web at pscp.tv where you can watch nostalgic Livestreams) Ultimately Twitter fired Kayvon prior to Elons buyout. And even though livestreaming has never gone away.... Twitter really treated the amazing community that made up the app... very poorly. I believe with the revival of the community livestreaming will push 𝕏 into the next dimension in 2024. Those wondering about the origin story of Livestreaming on 𝕏 ... This is it.

In 2007, Pep was selected as the Director of the MARFORPAC Command Operations Center.  While filling this position, he was responsible for developing MARFOR level Command Operations Center and Crisis Action Team (CAT) standard operating procedures, a detailed training/certification plan for all assigned COC and CAT personnel, the Command Continuity of Operations (COOP)/emergency relocation plan and was the project lead for the design and build of the current MARFORPAC COC facility.  The COC project was completed in fourteen months (initial design to project completion) and exhausted less than half of the original project budget of $13 million dollars.  This project provided Commander, MARFORPAC a state of the art secure facility capable of executing Geographic Combatant Command (COCOM) directed operations, C2 of operating forces (I & III MEF), execution of Marine Corps Support to OPLAN/CONPLAN execution, DOD Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) and other operations as necessary, significantly under budget and ahead of schedule. In 2015, Pep was promoted to Director of Operations of the MARFORPAC G3/5/7 Division.  In this role, he is responsible for supervision, oversight and coordination of a Directorate responsible for Marine Corps Current/Future Operations, Global Force Management, Readiness, Reserve Integration, Expeditionary/MAGTF Operations, MAGTF Training Program, Formal Schools and Force Protection (CBRN, LE, CIP, AT/FP, NLW).  As the MARFORPAC Director of Operations, he has been responsible for the coordination of numerous MARFORPAC contingency operations and tier one exercises to include Operations Tomodachi (Foreign Humanitarian Assistance and Consequence Management in Japan/March – May 2011), Operation Damayan (Foreign Humanitarian Assistance in the Philippines – November 2013) and Operation Sahayogi Haat (Foreign Humanitarian Assistance in Nepal/May 2015) In 2019, Pep was promoted to the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations & International Engagement (Deputy AC/S G3) of Marine Corps Forces, Pacific.  In this role, he is tasked with assisting the MARFORPAC Operations Officer in the operational oversight, proper employment and future training, acquisition and employment strategy of 2/3’s of the United States Marine Corps operating force (I & III MEF). I LOVE HER MORE today than I ever have in the past 25 years we have been together. My wife Emily @HawaiianHuiTV and I made a decision today to enrich our marriage in a much deeper way than ever before. We’ve fostered 4 children, adopted 1, birthed 3 - currently have 3 kids at home, one just graduated college in Boston… (don’t ask me about my math lol) We’ve planted 2 churches, opened a drug and alcohol rehab in the same property where we lived, had the honor and privilege of opening several businesses and investments with amazing leaders and we are just getting started. All that said… she is working on her masters degree (Business Management) while home schooling our children. She did that for literally 6 months by herself last year because of my travel schedule- There is no way we could have endured the hardships without God being front and center of our marriage. I’m not sure if we will ever share the details here on 𝕏 with you all… but we will definitely share them with those that attend our Marriage Conference [Honolulu, Hawaii] in April. The United States is in dire need of Fathers to be intentionally generational. In Maori and Kanaka Maoli culture (New Zealand and Hawaiian first nations) there's still that strong cultural binding of that generational warrior culture. But in modern times we are seeing a decline in active fathers.
