It's for the upcoming event, he hasn't made the debut in the anime yet. The core character concept of Saruto came out about half a year ago though and has quickly become the most iconic character in the franchise even before he has officially appeared

Yes but Zoro wouldn't have been able to get close without Luffy and Law running interference. Put Zoro in a 1 v 1 situation like Luffy and that'd be a wrap. He wouldn't be fast enough to dodge the Thunder Bagua either and it would be lights out

It's the difference between striking strength and piercing strength. Zoro uses a sharp object so he can pierce easier while Zoro does more overall damage
