I'm not sure how long it's going to take, but I truly believe that one day, a billion people will unknowingly be onchain in one way or another - whether through social, financial, gaming, or other platforms.
I think @base will play a major role in this, much like how @coinbase has onboarded millions to owning their first crypto.
I also believe that having world-class developer tools will be crucial to enable developers to create incredible onchain experiences - similar to how Google invested heavily in Chrome to enhance the web browsing experience, creating a flywheel effect of more people using the internet and, in turn, using Google Search.

Where we're heading with the onchain user experience:
End users won't have to acknowledge, think about, or even know about gas prices when interacting onchain.
Enabled by sub-cent gas fees and paymasters, gas fees will be abstracted away and handled on the backend by developers and dapps.
The new standard will be dapps covering all gas fees for their users, just like how users don't pay for website hosting costs.
