Thoughts on tonight’s win @ Detroit: • Just gonna skip the fluff with Jayden Daniels. He’s the best QB in the NFC, and he’s in the Mahomes/Allen/Jackson category. He can’t be stopped. • The defense gave up some yards (everyone does to Detroit) but FIVE takeaways is absurd considering they only had 16 all season. The only way to keep pace was to make plays defensively, and they made FIVE. • Dyami had yet another career game. (On St. Brown’s head). He has easily has put together his best back to back stretch in his four seasons here. Talk about timing. • Mikey Sainristil delivered in the biggest moment. He’s been on point all year, but to have two HUGE INT’s in Washington’s biggest game in 33 years is special. • O-line play (even after Cosmi went out) was stellar. They let Jayden rip it all night and Detroit paid for that. Gave the RB’s space. • Brian Robinson looked like early season BRob. 77 yards and 2 TD’s is his best game in months. Ekeler was great on the ground too. • McLaurin made the clutch plays per usual, like I said last week, he’s the most clutch WR in the NFL. • Ertz was phenomenal. • Fowler was disruptive. • Quan is underrated. • Lots of guys to shoutout, but they’re going to the NFC Championship with a rookie quarterback, a rookie GM, a coach in his first season here, and a roster full of guys that they were laughed at for signing. Truly one of the craziest NFL stories we’ve ever seen… and it’s not over yet.

Thoughts from todays loss @ Tampa: - Jayden looked fine. Rookie mistakes but also showed what he’s capable of. No turnovers, but team didn’t help him. - OLine wasn’t terrible but I think JD’s legs masked some of their mistakes. - Forbes isn’t even worth dressing anymore. - St. Juste would be the worst corner in the league if Forbes didn’t exist. - Entire secondary looked like Rivera gave them a pre-game speech. - The rush was there at times but like previous years, it couldn’t finish. - Next week’s kicker isn’t on the roster. - Way too many missed tackles. - They’ve gotta get their receivers more involved. - DQ had a few clock errors. - A lot of the same issues seem to have carried over from last year, especially on the defensive side. - Jamin Davis made a play, so there’s that.

Terry McLaurin deserves so much better.

Thoughts from tonight -Jahan is the best rookie WR. -The officials were a disaster but they also had 2 fumbles and gave up a 97 yard drive. -Not kicking a FG from the 34 yard line was a joke. - When BRob gets 5+ yards per carry, don’t turn around and give it to Curtis for 1.

Washington turned the ball over 5 times, but their rookie QB threw 5 touchdowns against the number 1 defense in the league, with no run game, and endless stupid penalties. That’s the difference.

Vernon Davis just announced his retirement live on Fox. One of the best tight ends this millennium, and a very productive late career Redskin.

A lot of problems with this team. Jayden Daniels is not one of them.

Allen Robinson sits comfortably at the top of my off-season wish list for the Washington Football Team.
