I wrote so many lines until Twitter bugged and lost it all, well hell I'm writing it again. I rarely talk about others subjects publicly, and I have nothing but respect for the staff and players in GX. A coach can think of options, players can bring ideas, but management is the final decision and yes I'll be talking about management in this post. This one is too personal for me to just walk away AGAIN (last 4 I was asked to not speak for players interests) . These news might shock many, but for someone who’s been around the GC scene long enough, sadly, it feels like just another day in the park, a very infertile one. Once again, we show why this scene still struggles to grow with maturity. If the management of TOP teams allows these kinds of moves, how can we have faith in giving this scene the respect it deserves? Respect should go to the efforts of a player who joined a new team, IGL’d, performed, spoke up, stayed quiet when needed, and earned the respect of the desk in the finest ways. She earned TOP 2 in EMEA consecutively, gathered enough Champions points to qualify just by reaching playoffs, and came so close to achieving the dream she had worked for over two years with nothing else in mind. And yet, she was just removed from the roster. For what? Because she’s “not enough to win a trophy”? Because she’s not afraid to speak up? Because she became bigger than what was expected? Whatever excuse you bring, breaking a contract unilaterally at the end of a season only shows how weak management in this scene can be. It always comes down to chasing wins instead of giving this scene what it needs: stability, growth, and a long-term strategy. If TOP teams can’t set the example, how can any aspiring talent believe it’s possible to stick around and build a stable life through their passion? The dream is so close to becoming real, but people keep messing it up. And this isn’t the first time I’ve spoken about it. If you follow me, you know. Please don’t challenge me by saying I don’t know how things work internally, I do. And don’t tell me I don’t understand management, my MBA, my full-time job, and my esports career say otherwise. That’s why I feel credible enough to speak on this, at least to a certain extent. I’m not saying I am always right. I’m saying this is definitely not fine for anyone except for those who believe a game, a split, or a trophy is bigger than the projection of your actions in life, everything we do matters and shame on us when we just think about ourselves, especially when we are in a position when we have authority. “An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity.” Finally, to @Namiivlr, you are not just a player. You are a story, an idea blooming, a charisma walking, and above all, you are HUMANE. Next step: be a figure. Because you damn well are becoming one. Stay humble, keep working, you got this 🤍

Bon j'ai évité de parler dernièrement pour laisser les filles se concentrer sur notre évolution. La responsabilité reste uniquement sur mes épaules et si quelqu'un a besoin d'en parler ou quelque chose, c'est à moi qu'il faut s'en prendre. Bonne nouvelle, on évolue, VRAIMENT et les filles le voient et apprennent de leur erreurs. Mauvaise nouvelle, on arrive pas à vous donner des wins et désolé pour ça. Pour toute transparence on règle tellement de choses et on a besoin d'évoluer sur tellement d'aspects qu'on a besoin de prioritizer et sacrifier certaines choses. Le niveau de compétition n'est juste pas "forgiven" et on paye le prix cher de nos erreurs. On ne justifie pas ses défaites mais je vous dis que les filles essayent de faire de leur mieux et elles sont entrain de tellement de se développer individuellement et en tant que team que c'est juste triste de ne pas pouvoir tracer le sourire sur leur visage (et le votre). Donnez leur la force et merci à tout le monde pour votre soutien et vos critiques, juste je demande que du positif pour les filles paske vous avez aucune visibilité de ce qui se passe dans la team. On essayera de montrer encore un meilleur visage que celui de l'Icebox 🙏

Well, this is my official retirement post: As always, it's never been about me; it's about the players. So, I chose this moment—when it truly matters—to share everything on my mind. It breaks my heart to read these LFT posts from the IGNITE team. This team was built around the concept of what a long-term project should look like. We started from nothing, yet we proved that it’s possible to create a professional environment for talented players with a clear identity, making our way step-by-step to the top. Every step was part of the plan, and I still have the first email outlining our objectives. We nailed it, except for the world championship qualification in this third split. We were so close, but resources… resources… Trust, belief, and a lot of care and friendship made this journey possible. This story should demonstrate that the backbone of IGNITE’s success was in believing in one another through a shared vision. Every player mattered equally, and we maintained our human connections through all the tough times, always respecting the rules we’d agreed upon. Once a rule was broken and not mended, we couldn’t go on. It was as simple as that. It pains me because we’ve built a home, a family, and now they’re leaving to embark on new paths. But that’s life, right? You grow up and eventually leave home to explore new adventures. I wish them all the best and hope that another team will embrace our mojo, refine our model, and IGNITE the scene, just as we surprised everyone by being among the top every split with our limited resources. I love IGNITE, and it will forever live in my heart. This message marks my competitive retirement as I shift towards a different role in supporting the scene. I’ve been working hard behind the scenes on something new, and it’s taking longer than expected, but we’re getting closer. Once it’s ready, I’ll share even the smallest details with you very soon. A little bit about me… Actually, not really about me—I want to thank every player I’ve coached since my first day in VALORANT. I won’t go into my League of Legends days because only a few in this community know about them. But I want to express my gratitude in a special way: I plan to share memories or lessons I learned from each of these players. They built who I am today. Faire du "banter" c'est bien pour la scène mais =faut savoir le faire comme toute chose aussi ;) Nice try quand même. Et je m'explique : - Dire qu'on apporte le "taunt" ou "banter" à la scène GC est complètement faux, faut s'acculturer et suivre la scène un minim. - Du "Banter" sur des ranks de joueuses qui est un rank authorisé par les TO prouve juste mon premier point encore. (A savoir pour les VCT (main event) le rank minimum est diamond😉) - Pourquoi juste Erah qui se font banter sur 3 posts, avant, pendant et après le match ? - Pourquoi je ne vois pas du "banter" pour les autres équipes ? plutot une petit blague full respect pour l'équipe dite "favorite" du tournois ? Target les petites équipes ce n'est pas du "banter", c'est du non respect (pour moi) Tout ça juste pour dire que le Banter, taunt, trashtalk ... c'est bien pour la scène mais comme TOUT faut savoir faire correctement son travail ET SURTOUT s'excuser quand c'est mal fait😁Again nice try mais faut savoir s'excuser quand c'est too much, c'est une bonne chose même les plus grandes équipes le font🙂 HORMIS CA, vas-y on tache pas ce joli tournois par juste ce petit incident, go donner de la force à toutes les équipes et avec du bon banter😝 ET surtouuuuut pour @ErahEsport HAVE FUUUUN, amusez vous et apprenez pleins de choses, c'est vous le futur🔥

If teams/organizations can't properly mentor and guide players, how can we expect young players to handle crises and learn from them? Everyone has a role and responsibility within an ecosystem. Let's manage our own responsibilities and trust others to handle theirs through appropriate channels. I'm really happy with our improvement as a team. On another note, I want to emphasize that I'm always transparent about every decision we make as a management and coaching staff. However, this time, we're in the middle of a tournament, and the decision to have @ClaCSGO sub in wasn't an easy one. So, I urge everyone to respect all our players and their work, including @notaNNja and @ClaCSGO . They are both exceptional players, and neither should be thought of otherwise. Our priority now is to focus on continuing our journey in the playoffs and protecting our players from any unnecessary noise. Again, please respect everyone's status and acknowledge their efforts. Bad at writing threads, I must confess. I'm more of a researcher-report kind of guy. But hey lovely moroccan community, please read everything, ESPECIALLY solutions and conclusion! Introduction: Thank you, @MohamedHnot and @BassySaad, for initiating this discussion. I also want to express my gratitude to all the individuals in the @/ABR community and those who have contributed to the conversation with respect ( Can't tag everyone right !) I refrained from commenting as I prefer official channels and have been eagerly waiting for an official statement. Unfortunately, it seems that such a statement is not forthcoming. Situation: @MohamedHnot I believe any person with common sense would clearly understand your point, and I'm sure @BassySaad agrees with you. But he was talking about leaders-in-game and in my opinion knowing very well the scenes, coaches can help directing and naming these IGLs that we can build teams around them, it is the starting point, but the problem is deeper than that. There are several issues that need to be addressed: players' mentality, lack of consistent teams, community management, and the responsibility of organizers and organizations regarding the current situation. It's so easy to name and enumerate them but HARD to solve any of them without a clear vision and an action plan. However, in a world where we have an organization representing the country and taking the responsibility to make this action plan, it is disappointing to see individuals making decisions based on personal agendas. I don't want to undermine the work done by many people in the federation, there is a huge work on other levels that is being done and it's lovely to see that we're starting, but in this case, they completely missed the mark. There have been many mistakes along the way, and yet there has been no official communication, except for @BassySaad's efforts to share what he can with everyone. We still don't even have an official reason for why the tournament was canceled. It doesn't matter how significant the reason is, but we need a statement. Solutions: Now, we are discussing solutions and what to do next. NEXT WEEK, we will launch a project with enthusiasts from MOROCCO and abroad. Let's hold everyone accountable in front of the entire community and openly discuss our efforts and work. I will tag a list of over 50 individuals who can greatly contribute to the project and invite them to join. We will present the project publicly, via stream, and see what everyone is willing to do about it. Conclusion: Let's focus less on talk and make actual efforts to change this unacceptable situation. We can do it TOGETHER !

I believe organizations should guide and support their talents and players, lead by example, teach crisis management, and emphasize each person's role in the system. No one should exceed their responsibilities. Players play their best, coaches coach and managers manage. (1/3) Let's not repeat other regions past mistakes and tarnish the space we're creating for MENA and EMEA GC players. Organizations and staff must instill this culture in these exceptional and young talents, or who will ? (2/3) I am not here to judge anyone, but I don't want to see the same behavior that caused regions to collapse and become irrelevant. Talking bad about people who actually do good things for the scene won't get you anywhere better🤍 At this exact moment, players/talents I coached are signed/tryingOut for huge orgs. I don't make threads about their achievements they do, my pride is just seeing them succed. GOM !
