After twenty-five years of treasured relationships and memorable moments I am retiring from college football. For the first time in my adult life I am putting the needs of my aging parents ahead of the needs of administrators, the needs of my wife ahead of the needs of the coaching staff, and the needs of my daughter ahead of the needs of other people’s children. This was a prayerful decision that I am very comfortable with.
Words cannot express the gratitude I have for all of the coaches and players that have shared this special period of my life with me. God bless you all!

Excellent team game today. Took a little bit of everything, and everyone, to beat TLU 51-33 on the road. Great 1st season in the ASC. No one (but us) thought we would be a top 3 team in the SEC of Division III.

.@supiratesfb is now 1-0 in the ASC and 2-0 overall. Defense held McMurry to just over 200 yards and 6 points while the offense put up 551 yards and 37 points without three all-ASC players. Work to be done before we play again next Saturday, but many good things to build on.
