There is a misconception that everyone D1 has turn out. Couldn’t be more false.
Many D2, D3 and NAIA games have much more a fan presence and enthusiasm in the program. I’ve seen it first hand.
D2: NWMSU, Pitt State, FHSU, Henderson and Ouachita are a few away stadiums that I coached against and had amazing crowd turnout.
Do research recruits if this a particular thing you are looking for.
Note: We had 10,000 at our HS game last night. It means something to our community.
