The amazing RSLWA Poppy Ladies have knitted 62,000 red poppies for the 100 year anniversary of Remembrance Day. Currently 11,000 are are arranged around the Eternal Flame at Kings Park with the rest to follow for the memorial. Each poppy represents a fallen soldier #cityofperth

We recently said goodbye to Aunty Theresa, a founding member of our Elders Advisory Group. Tonight, Council House will be lit up in the colours of the Aboriginal flag and tomorrow, on the day of the funeral, the flags will be lowered to half-mast.
