Asked about congestion pricing, @GovKathyHochul said she and the legislative leaders are currently "massaging" their alternate plan to raise $15 bn.
She also cited congestion pricing's effect on "pizza delivery" as one of the reasons why she stopped it from going into effect
Under Hochul's new congestion pricing plan, it will still be more expensive to take the subway into Lower Manhattan on a Friday night than it will be to drive your own car over the Williamsburg Bridge.

Hochul's attorneys admitted that she never put her order to "pause" congestion pricing on paper, that the state DOT found out by watching her on TV.
"I'm not aware of any explicit direction," the gov's attorney said.
The driver was not given a summons for having an illegal plate.
When I asked the NYPD about why they did this, they responded with a basic narrative of what happened, only they referred to the driver as the "victim."

The MTA Board cannot back away from Congestion Pricing now. It would violate the 2009 Public Authorities Reform Act that explicitly stated the MTA board is an independent body and should be making all decisions with the MTA's fiscal responsibility its primary concern.
