If you purchase an optimization and the guy runs a .bat you are most likely being scammed. .bat files will not get you better hit reg. Running a .bat file is the same thing as putting the contents in command prompt. Running such file without knowing the contents is dangerous.

Leave your fps uncapped unless you are experiencing screen tearing. Adding a cap of any kind will introduce additional input latency and will not keep your frames from dropping. Screen tearing is when you see horizontal splits in your image.

Change your slide bind to just crouch/slide and the delay will go away. Also set a separate bind for prone, you should be abusing the ability to instantly go prone rather than having to hold down the button and wait as a kbm player

For people who are getting a direct x error (crash) try using DDU to completely uninstall your gpu driver and then use nvcleaninstall to reinstall it. No promises but I have fixed crashes for people previously.

Selling .bat files has been the go to scam for people who aren’t knowledgeable with computers for many years. To see what is in a .bat file, change the extension to .txt and open with notepad. From there you can paste each line into google

what driver are you rolling back to? things to try: delete players folder in documents, clear temp, clear direct x shade cache, reinstall the game, scan and repair. roll back a driver version with DDU and nvcleaninstall

If you have a decent computer its not going to give you any noticeable increase you are most likely GPU bound especially if you play multiplayer

If you join a discord and the server has verification which takes you to a browser and asks you to login do not complete it and leave the server immediately. Doing so will grant people permission to join servers on your account without you knowing or even dm your friends list.

For AMD use adrenalin or find the latest driver on their website. Lots of people have been messaging me about their game crashing. I believe its an issue with the game itself I have crashed a few times since the release of ranked and 0 times before it.

Low end pcs are where a custom OS would be most useful especially a system with only 8 gb RAM. High end pcs aren’t going to benefit from the extra 2 gb ram being saved as much as a system that’s maxed out on ram usage
