As Leemon and I step into our new roles as Chief Scientist and Chair of Swirlds Labs - with Eric Piscini (@episcini) taking over as CEO, and Charles Adkins (@CharlesXAdkins) joining as President of the network - it is now time to begin a new chapter for @Hedera. Next month, Chief Marketing Officer Christian Hasker (@chasker) and SVP of Communications Zenobia Godschalk (@zenobiaZAG) will be moving on from Swirlds Labs following their long and storied tenure in marketing leadership for Hedera. It is difficult to express the extent of my appreciation for what these incredible people have brought to the ecosystem and everything we have accomplished over the many years we’ve been working together. What a great start to #HederaCon 2025! Hedera and @hashgraph Co-founders Dr. @leemonbaird and @ManceHarmon opened the event - sharing insights on Hedera’s journey and how trust has always been at the core.

WalletConnect for Hedera (Coming Soon) 📣 Hgraph is leading a joint initiative with key wallet providers to create a unified @WalletConnect solution for the @Hedera ecosystem. This streamlined library/SDK will simplify processes for dapps and pave the way for accelerated mass adoption. One integration for all wallets! Following months of dedication from all involved providers, we're now entering the "Community Beta" phase, allowing dapps & wallets to start testing WalletConnect. As we progress towards finalizing the reference implementations (library/SDK) of the official Hedera WalletConnect spec, stay tuned for more detailed updates coming soon. Every wallet provider is actively supporting this initiative, working together and coming to consensus on each step of the way. Each provider has made significant compromises for the benefit of the Hedera community and we are incredibly grateful. These collective efforts not only strengthen our ecosystem but also showcase its resilience. We'd like to express our gratitude to the teams at @hashpack, @KabilaApp, @droppcc, @CalaxyApp, @BladeWallet, @wallawallet and other providers participating in this initiative. We're also thankful to the independent experts advising our group, as well as @_ddstyle for overseeing the project management.
