Drake Power Plant will shut down for good tomorrow night. We used coal for the last time at the plant one year ago. Now we’re turning off the natural gas units. Drake has served our community for almost 100 years. But it’s time to say farewell. Hello, cleaner energy future.

Birds, beware! We've got new security at the solar panels on Pikeview Reservoir. Our fake coyote keeps birds from using the panels as a perch/bathroom. This floating device mixes up the water to control algae growth, but it doesn't work if the panels are covered in bird poo!
