My life would have to be in danger before I would post “I had to use ChatGPT to learn where to buy a stamp” in public.
A client accidentally double paid a $15K invoice recently. I called to let them know and said I would shred the check. They asked me to please mail the check back to them. I had to use ChatGPT to learn where to buy a stamp. I went to Walgreens, and they made me buy 20. I used 1 and threw the other 19 away. I then had to figure out how to get the envelope in the mail. I asked the property manager of our office building what to do. She took care of it for me. Not knowing how to send mail is a huge competitive advantage.

“Why does Mike Vrabel, the largest coach, not simply eat the other coaches?”
Dianna Russini asked about Mike Vrabel on The Athletic Football Show: "I don't think there was a fit for him. I don't think he sat in front of any owner who thought that his style was going to work for what they were looking for...I had a GM at the Senior Bowl who mentioned to me Vrabel's physical build. That he's a very large human being. And can be very intimidating to people in an organization that are going to be part of these decisions. And that is a factor."

My theory on this topic for years has been: RedZone has tricked the football obsessive’s brain into thinking the average game has much more action and scoring and general excitement than it ever did, which makes normal island games seem less entertaining by comparison.

I genuinely think not enough people in the Fantasy Football community understand this, but: The randomness is a feature of the game, not a bug, and many fewer people would be interested in playing if the best player won every league more often.

It is perhaps worth noting that Tim Tebow left football and, with no experience as a broadcaster, immediately was put into high-profile, well-paying spots on TV. He was then allowed to play professional baseball basically because he wanted to. That context seems relevant.
