We’re excited to share that Router Chain is officially advancing from beta to public mainnet with
@taikoxyz, unlocking seamless cross-chain communication between Taiko and over 25+ EVM and non-EVM chains through Router Chain!
This upgrade means that Taiko developers now have direct access to a vast network of chains, enhancing the capabilities and reach of their dApps.
During the Beta Mainnet phase, Nitro blazed through with over 29,000+ transactions, raking in a staggering $147.27 million in volume. Nitro which is built on top of Router Chain was also a winner of the Taiko Trailblazers bridge campaign where over 41,000 ETH was bridged from various chains to Taiko, resulting in Nitro ranking #2 in the competition.
With 18 dApps on Taiko ready to leverage the Router Chain, developers can unlock new opportunities in DeFi by integrating Taiko dApps with Router Chain’s expansive cross-chain network, offering users cross-chain asset management and in-app economies that interact with various blockchain environments. enabling seamless liquidity and asset management across multiple blockchains.
Additionally, we're proud to highlight
@StakeEase, an omnichain restaking index aiming to create a sustainable LRTfi ecosystem via a unified LRT vault. StakeEase is currently on the Taiko & Holesky testnet and will be launching on the Taiko & Ethereum mainnet soon. In collaboration with StakeEase, Taiko will also introduce an incentive program for users holding sxETH (an omnichain token powered by Router Protocol) on Taiko, so stay tuned!
Reminder: StakeEase is participating in our StakeDrop campaign, make sure you are staking your ROUTE to be eligible for rewards.
