It is unbelievably annoying to play fox when I can just get planked or die to things that only work on my character. Im sooooo tired of losing to worse players that ik my piers would never dream of losing to because their characters just don't have the problem my character does.

This is rlly funny bc Ultimate is probably the single best casual fighter ever made. It has endless casual game modes and rulesets that you can use, 90+ fighters, and 100+ stages. The fact that it blew up competitively doesn’t change that it can also be used for casual play.
If Multiversus shuts down,
The only 2 major platform fighters will be
Smash ultimate which has a VERY TOXIC fanbase and gets repetitive.
And Rivals 2 which is fun but isn’t very welcoming to more casual players
Multiversus is THE casual platfighter and it needs to stay alive

Smash Ultimate on the Switch 2 does not have less input delay. Both the native input delay and delay based netcode are built into the game itself, so the console Ultimate is running on does not matter when talking about input delay.

I've been focusing on my positioning and movement with Aegis.
You can gain information by faking out an approach, you can run away if you feel like you've made a mistake, etc.
If you play the character in a very "objective" way, mixed in with good movement, they shine a lot.

It’s almost like Japan is the size of California and they don’t have to worry about 4-10 frames of input delay when attempting to practice on a matchmaking website because whether they match with someone from the east coast, west coast, or a diff country is completely random.
It’s almost like one region has a resource that is used by its entire player base to improve while others hides its top players behind gated discord communities 🤔 🤷

That’s why you see Aegis’ losing when they “shouldn’t” lose (As most people put it), and that is why most people don’t play them.
They’re not someone like Mario, Yoshi or Lucas where you get that one hit in neutral and you’re dead.

All the characters that I have found gets hit by DJCZ --> Bair. If you're main is in here I wanna apologize in advance because this is messed up. This combo is theoretically true on every character, except yoshi and luigi, if you catch them in the air with DJCZ you can bair.

Lucas is BY FAR the best character in the entire game with items
He gets consistent 0-70s and can actually just kill you if he gets the right opening with an item at any given moment
