Professor @mpherlihy of @BrownCSDept has won a $65K grant from the @Ethereum Foundation to develop smart contract libraries and protocols to facilitate transactions that span multiple blockchains, known as atomic cross-chain transactions, on public blockchains such as Ethereum.
