I found this note and before I loose it again, here’s the story it comes with.
Flight
@IndiGo6E 451 to Lko, I was travelling with a small hand bag, a doughnut and no cash. Was planning to have food onboard, those RTE chicken rice boxes, reminds me of my dorm days in London, cheap nostalgia whenever I travel indigo.
Now, onboard they only accepted credit cards, which i did not have. So I couldn’t order any food. The flight was full, and a lot going on. But Vishika ( flight attendant ) noticed.
She came to me after a while and she offered me her food. She said I can’t offer u chicken n rice, but you can have my staff portion of manchurian noodles.
I was pleasantly surprised. What a wonderful gesture, I am a sucker for a good hospitality and specially when someone goes that extra mile. My face lit up with a smile, was so happy to be on the receiving end of this initiative. I thanked her and politely refused. And I gifted them the donut I was carrying for being so nice to me.
There’s more.
Few minutes after this, they served me a full meal, noodles, a muffin n a drink along with this note. Yes, it was kindness and I was served.
There’s more, I wanted to win this ‘kindness’ war we have now going. So before the flight landed I quickly sketched up a scene from the pantry of 6E. It’s a 15 min sketch, so not much to it, but I promised the crew that I’d tweet it. So here is it.
Let’s make sure it reaches Vishika, who went that extra mile miles above.
