Yes. But I'd actually prefer to vote for Kamala. I think we need to urge her to run. This time, she won't be tied to President Biden's policies, and I think she's to the right of Biden. She is sharp and has fire. Why shouldn't we have a woman as president.

A President Nikki Haley would give America a fresh start. Donald Trump could lose again like he did last time. This week's Quinnipiac poll: Biden 47%, Trump 46%. Haley's almost tied Trump in New Hampshire. Trump was caught on tape trying to overturn election results in Michigan, according to recordings heard by the Detroit News, which alleges Trump pressured two top Wayne County election officials not to certify Biden the winner. Trump was charged for the same thing federally and in Georgia, among other charges he faces. Someone who always gets themselves in trouble with the law should never be president, because they don't respect the law and they refuse to change. Nikki Haley is the smart choice, for a better future.

A President Nikki Haley would eliminate the danger that Donald Trump poses to our United States and our democracy if he's reelected. The American people must stop Trump and his supporters at the ballot box. First we must help Haley win New Hampshire. That win would put her even with Trump in the primaries, show she can match or beat Trump, and I expect more Americans would then support her. The clip below is from an interview former Trump Defense Secretary Mark Esper gave in which he said, "Trump has spoken about his campaign's agenda being one of revenge, and so that should send a chill down our spines, to think about how he might weaponize the DOJ and other departments".
Trump’s former Defense Secretary Mark Esper on Donald Trump: "I do regard him as a threat to democracy."

The Union Leader has now endorsed Nikki Haley for president! The paper's story is behind a paywall, but this Politico story is a must-read for Haley supporters. Former publisher Joe McQuaid (father of the current publisher) says if it was up to him, "I would endorse Nikki Haley. It would be a no-brainer because Trump, for the good of the country, needs to be stopped. I think he and Biden are the two most selfish guys in America for doing this. They should let somebody living and breathing with some command of sanity rule. This is the one place where somebody can stop him and that person is clearly Haley." And about Trump, he says, He has no business being president of the United States. He’s a dangerous man and he has a lot of sycophants, and he has a party which looks at the world today in the political landscape and has determined that they must say nice things about him or they’re not going to get elected".
The New Hampshire Union Leader, a 161-year-old newspaper that has operated like a Republican party boss for decades, will announce its endorsement on Sunday. @RyanLizza caught up with its former longtime publisher to find out which way they’ll swing👇 politico.com/news/magazine/2…

Many of us believe Donald Trump is devoid of the character of a mature man. He has shown that he's self-centered; a real man cares for others and his world and shows empathy. A real man values and tells the truth; Donald Trump has told lies and exaggerates. A real man protects women; Donald Trump was found liable for sexual assault and boasted about grabbing women by their private parts. A real man respects the law; Donald Trump is facing charges for allegedly committing several crimes, including hoarding classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and covering it up! A real man accepts when he loses; Donald Trump faces charges that he tried to overturn the election results, and is connected to violence of the Capitol Riot! A real man does not associate with his enemies, but Donald Trump has praised dictators and said he wants to be one on Day One. To my fellow men, if you haven't read books like Iron John by Robert Bly or King Warrior Magician Lover by Moore & Gillette, I recommend that you do, to learn about what it means to be a mature man in his fullness.

Kamala Harris pointed out how Trump is a chaos agent. Kamala was right. Trump and Musk have created a LOT of chaos, with the tariff ideas, and wanting to invade the sovereign nations of Canada and Greenland--making our ally Canada hate us--and wanting to take over the Panama Canal. The stock market has plunged under Trump, affecting people's 401K plans. Many Americans are scared that he and Musk might take away their Social Security. He said he'd end the war in Ukraine on "day one," and it's been two months with no progress. Harris said Trump "demeans the office" of the president, and she was right; the country is divided. He said he thought an imaginary person, Hannibal Lecter, was real and was a great man. And he said in his interview with Joe Rogan, "I want to be a whale psychiatrist." That is a man with problems. Why NIKKI HALEY should be president and Donald Trump should not. --Many polls show Haley has a better chance of beating President Biden than Trump might. Being the nominee doesn't matter if you can't win the White House. --Polls have shown majorities of Americans don't want either Trump or Biden to be re-elected. --FiveThirtyEight says Trump's unfavorability rating is at 53%. Nikki Haley's is only 32%. Haley would invite more voters across the board and would probably unite the country more. --Haley displays intelligence, focus, determination and calm in speaking about ways to tackle our country's issues and how to lead into the future, while Trump has been focused in large measure on the past, rambles in speeches, has been self-centered, bitter, and verbally abusive, as evidenced by his attacks on people involved in prosecuting him for his alleged crimes. --Haley points out we can't have "4 years of chaos, vendettas, & drama". The Washington Post reported that Trump and his allies are forming plans to use the federal government to punish critics and opponents, investigate or prosecute them, and possibly use the Insurrection Act to have the military crush demonstrations on his first day in office if re-elected. --Haley has her eye on reducing the National Debt, almost a staggering $34 trillion. She says one solution must be to make some changes to Social Security. The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump rejects even modest changes to Social Security. During the Trump administration, $8 trillion was added to the National Debt. The Washington Post reports that Trump, if re-elected, may try to reduce the corporate tax rate further, limiting government revenue, and possibly increasing the National Debt further. --Haley is participating in all the Republican debates. Trump is avoiding them, thereby limiting discussion of whether another Trump term would adversely affect the country. --Trump was found liable for sexual abuse, battery and defamation of E. Jean Carroll. A New York judge also found Trump and his company committed repeated acts of business fraud for years. Haley is not sullied by such repeated run-ins with the law. --There is a sizable "Never Trump" segment of Republicans, and some of them say if Trump becomes the nominee, they'll vote Democratic. --Trump has praised some dictators, also said "You know, Hezbollah is very smart, they're all very smart", and criticized the leader of ally Israel. Haley has said she would not do these things, partly because she says "The stakes couldn't be higher".

I think MAGA's time is over--America has moved on--but Trump, a senior citizen, is flogging it to try to get reelected, and so his supporters buy into it. We don't need to make America great again because at its core it's always been great, but like any country it has ups and downs. I think MAGA has been too isolationist. Nikki Haley is focused squarely and primarily on domestic issues, including reducing spending and the massive National Debt that Trump helped to increase. But we have to consider the larger world, especially to defend ourselves against threats from China, North Korea, Russia and Iran. President Reagan believed in preventing communist expansion in the world, not to be buddy-buddy with dictators, like Trump likes to be. Many of us think MAGA is too far right--and, strangely, not that conservative. We can be conservative but also come back toward the middle a little to show "the other side" that we're all part of the same country.

About the stock market correction and possible recession, if Donald Trump was a thinking, feeling president, he would've said, "We're working as much as possible to prevent a recession so Americans are not impacted too much financially." Instead, he says to Fox News, "I hate to predict things like that. There is a period of transition because what we’re doing is very big." Heard some of what he said later in clips on radio news while driving, and in the first one I heard, he said he was doing things "like never before." Well, America's mood has turned dark like never before. Far from a "golden age" he thinks he's creating. People are paying high prices and are scared about whether they'll get their Social Security and are scared because of the uncertainty he and Musk have created. We who believe Trump does not have our country's best interests at heart must stay vigilant! watchful! active! Stay in touch with each other. To fight for what's right in our country and for our country's true values, not the almighty dollar Trump and Musk seem to care most about, and their own recognition; and to care about people here and around the world who need our help. Happy Sunday! If you feel what's happening these days is too chaotic and unnerving, here are some quotes that might help. "Concentrated power has always been the enemy of liberty." Ronald Reagan "The American dream belongs to all of us." Kamala Harris "We must support our rights or lose our character, and with it, perhaps, our liberties." James Monroe "I would rather belong to a poor nation that was free than to a rich nation that had ceased to be in love with liberty." Woodrow Wilson "I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man." Thomas Jefferson "Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth." John F. Kennedy "A people that values its privileges above its principles soon loses both." Dwight D. Eisenhower "99% of failures come from people who make excuses." George Washington "Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek." Barack Obama "A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor." Franklin Delano Roosevelt "Perseverance and spirit have done wonders in all ages." George Washington "The best way to predict your future is to create it." Abraham Lincoln "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." Theodore Roosevelt

It appears Trump is LYING again. He said, "I had an approval rating today of 71 and another one of 69." Not in the real polls. MSNBC says Pew and CNN give him only 47%, Gallup and Quinnipiac 45, Reuters/Ipsos 44, Wash Post/Ipsos 43. You have to question his grasp of reality.

I agree, Madam Vice President. Thank you for running for president, for your positivity, your experience, your vision, and your ability to unite us. I voted for you, and I would vote for you again. God bless you and all those around you.

We'll never forget Trump's actions and words on and around Jan. 6 and his connection with the election interference, classified documents, and hush money cases, and just so, we'll never forget Putin started the war. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian military and civilian casualties.

JD Vance: "The president said we have to have Greenland." The president also said about Hannibal Lecter, "He's a wonderful man." The president also told Joe Rogan, "I want to be a whale psychiatrist." The president also said, "So there's a shark 10 yards away from the boat. Do I get electrocuted if the boat is sinking, water goes over the battery, the boat is sinking. Do I stay on top of the boat and get electrocuted, or do I jump over by the shark and not get electrocuted?" The president also said, "I'll be known as the fertilization president, and that's okay." #vance #greenland

Actually, the RealClearPolitics average of recent polls shows, while Trump might beat Biden by 2 points, Haley would beat Trump by 5 points. In a Wall Street Journal poll, Haley beats Biden by 17 points! Trump might win by only 4, if at all.

Just watched the first 5 minutes of Trump's speech and had to turn it off. He puts everybody down and makes it sound like everything he does is right and he's the only one who can "save America". Wrong. Republicans must nominate someone else. #TrumpRally

Trump booed, heckled. Politico: "He’s more delusional than I thought" Libertarians jeer Trump during convention speech. The Guardian: "No wannabe dictators!" Daily Beast: "Swamp Creature" Trump gets shouted down, begs for nomination. politi.co/4dYREmn via @politico

@EJColMill both Biden and Trump have records, which are normally important, but for me as a Republican, that won't affect my vote for Biden this fall. Biden is old, but in my view Trump is crazy, so I will choose old over crazy. Have to see what side Americans will fall on this.

Nikki Haley for president! Trump is probably going to jail, and he always lies. Haley is smarter than Trump. Trump would probably increase the National Debt more than he did last time. Republicans, it's not too late to make the wise choice for our country. Vote Nikki Haley.

The president and Democrats should agree to cut spending. The Treasury Department said last month, "The current fiscal path is unsustainable." And about Biden's proposed FY 2024 budget, the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget says, "Debt would continue to rise unsustainably under (his) budget, reaching a new record of 110 percent of GDP by 2033". Nikki Haley is vowing, if she becomes president, to outlaw trillion dollar spending sprees by BOTH parties.

Trump says it's "more difficult...to deal with Ukraine"? But in 2023, he said about solving that crisis, "I'll have that done IN 24 HOURS." Donald Trump, that was another lie, like how you lied about winning the 2020 election, and other lies. You have lowered the presidency!

Nalin, you are totally right. Good for you for speaking out. So many of us are behind Nikki and your family. Nikki would make the best president. Maybe there will still be a chance this year. I was proud to vote Haley for president in the California primary!

Florida's great governor Ron DeSantis had it right Sunday, saying "progressive so-called prosecutors" get elected "saying they are going to pursue not the public safety, but what they consider to be social justice", and then they refuse to enforce laws they don't agree with.

Nikki Haley would be a much more historic president than Donald Trump was. Trump wants retribution. But George Washington said, "We should not look back unless it is to derive useful lessons from past errors." Trump has been in trouble with the law many times. Washington said, "Laws made by common consent must not be trampled on by individuals". He also said, "Happiness and moral duty are inseparably connected". You rarely see Trump happy. Trump swears and calls people childish names. But Washington said, "The foolish and wicked practice of profane cursing and swearing is a vice so mean and low that every person of sense and character detests and despises it". And Trump once posted on X, "Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don't feel so stupid or insecure, it's not your fault". Washington said, "I have no other view than to promote the public good, and am unambitious of honors not founded in the approbation of my Country". Washington was our first president, and Nikki Haley can be our first woman president! Vote Haley 2024.
