The @FoxNews reporter Benjamin Hall @BenjaminHallFNC had been awarded with the Medal of Merits by the #Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky @ZelenskyyUa in Kyiv. On March 14, 2022, Benjamin Hall was severely wounded by the Russian shell while reporting from the Kyiv suburbs. He lost a leg and both feet. His cameraman & the Ukrainian producer were killed on the spot.
Lachlan Murdoch, chairman of News Corp & executive chairman and CEO of Fox Corporation joined the cozy award ceremony in the presidential office to talk to Zelensky.
The Ukrainian leader called his guests to brace for the longer war. "Strangely, people treat this [war] like a movie and expect no long pauses, that a picture will constantly change, and there will be surprises. But it's not a movie for us and our warriors. It's life. Everything will end not that soon as we would want it to end. But, we have no right to step back and we won't do that", the President said.
