Citywide Gun & Drug Seizures Baltimore Police Officers continue their efforts to arrest the individuals responsible for violence in our City. Officers have seized more than 950 firearms this year, with these being taken off the streets of Baltimore City in the last few days. Remember, you can report illegal activity in your neighborhood by calling 911 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7Lockup. Callers can remain anonymous.

Ms. Campbell was reported missing on June 18, 2026, from the 300 block of East 28th Street. She was last seen wearing a white and gold turban, white shirt with blue khakis. She walks slowly. Northern District Juvenile Carjacking Arrest On June 23, 2026, at approximately 11:45 a.m., officers located a vehicle in connection to a carjacking that occurred earlier in the day in the 5300 block of York Road. Officers located the vehicle on Violet Avenue and the driver, a 15-year-old male, was arrested. The suspect was transported to Juvenile Booking, where he was charged.

BPD continues its enforcement efforts targeting dirt bike and off-road vehicle violations and will respond to complaints involving illegal riding on city streets. This weekend, officers seized eight dirt bikes and off-road vehicles and cited multiple individuals for traffic violations. ARREST MADE IN NORTHWEST DISTRICT HOMICIDE   Northwest District officers arrested 45-year-old Lamont Bates on June 23 after he was detained during a shoplifting incident at a business in the 4600 block of Liberty Heights Ave.   Bates was wanted in connection with the fatal shooting of 24-year-old Xavier Williams on June 20 in the 5400 block of Park Heights Ave. He has been charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Murder and multiple handgun violations.

End of Watch June 23, 1951: Police Officer Arthur J. Weiss Sr.    Police Officer Arthur Weiss suffered a fatal heart attack while directing traffic at the intersection of Camden Street and Howard Street.  He was taken to Mercy Hospital after he notified his sergeant that he was feeling ill. He passed away a short time after arriving at the hospital. We will never forget.
