It was reported the Portugese government considers buying old Trenhotel stock to revive the night train Lisbon-Hendaye, technically it wold be possible to go all the way at least to Bordeaux.Maybe they need a bit of support to really do it.
I see that Portugal is totally left out. :( There would be a great way to reach Porto and Lisbon from Paris (or even further) via Bordeaux and Bilbao. High-speed lines are going as far as Bordeaux, then many old tracks. But that might be okay for a slow-moving night train.

#EuroNight 476 operated by #ČeskéDráhy we had a 2 bed sleeper with washbasin / shower & toilet at the end of the carriage
This train is special as it waits in Breclav for 6 hours, continuing the next day attached to a IC train - excellent sleep 🛏💤

These norwegian #nighttrains are perfectly designed for trips of 14h or more (like Bergen-Malmö). A pity they can’t do more. #3PercentOverNight. @Lenny_du_Nord @joinnyg
