Devs are less likely to be fans of the uchokozi & tests people like to throw when dating after a long day of problem solving so they will likely not be as receptive and some may even start to grow distant over time because sometimes they just want a break from stress

I remember when about 6 years ago I decided to drop out of my Telecommunications Engineering course at JKUAT to start off a career in Software Development, it was a time u found both scary and exciting.
This thread here really resonated with me all these years later 😅

That means we weren’t taught our craft in school
I dropped out of Biomedical Engineering at Kenyatta University 6 years ago, so I could teach myself to code
Not asking guys to drop out, but to show you can self-educate

Rest and restoration is just as important as putting in the work. Getting 16hrs/day on wakatime counts for nothing if you're so burnt out that you spent all of it writing one if statement (may sound like an exaggeration but burnout will do that)
