On a serious note…. @BristolCity what will it take to give the man a testimonial for his services to the club, not only a “Bristol City Legend” but one of the nicest, caring, considerate men in the whole of our beautiful city… Bristol has many iconic things, Suspension Bridge, Hippodrome, Temple Meads, Cabot Circus to mention a few… but when you think Bristol football, you think @Scotty_Murray do what’s right, plan this in and get this man the testimonial he rightly deserves 🙌🏼⚽️ and then plan where his statue is going after… the man is without any doubt a Bristol Treasure

It’s been a while since my last visit to @CadburyHeathFC but I have to say today has honestly blown me away… a few years ago now the Memorial bench of the late Terry Green was vandalised by some mindless individuals, very much like the club this affected me and I offered to contribute towards a new bench… the football community came together and raised funds to replace the bench which I seen at the ground today which is fantastic…. Today the club have approached me and after the new bench was installed they had some money over in the pot….. today they have donated that money to @cfcf_bristol as a thank you to me for initiating the fundraising and as a thank you for my support towards grassroots football….. £300.00 from them to my charity, overwhelmed is an understatement…. Very emotional and very grateful for such an incredible act of kindness, thank you all at @CadburyHeathFC 🤝🏼🤍 #SupportingCF #CysticFibrosis #FW

Always been a massive fan of the hard working people behind the scenes, so it’s got me thinking, why not have a day to celebrate their hard work, so I was thinking, Sat 8th Feb, why don’t we make it national Non League Volunteers Day, club can post pics and tweets and use the hashtag #NonLeagueVolunteersDay to highlight and show their thanks for all the hardworking people at non league level…. All these hero’s go under the radar, and think this would be a great way of showing your appreciation to them.. and for the players, maybe buy them a drink after the game or just even take some time to say “Thank you” for all they do for you on a match day….

Some of you ask…. WHY CF? WHAT’S CF?
This is why, 13 years ago I lost one of my best friends Sam (Syd) to CF, I made him a promise I would never forget him, never stop thinking about him, and I’d do what I could to give others with CF a chance…. Through fundraising and more recently over the last 6 years doing #FW I’ve been able to raise over £20,000 for @cfcf_bristol in Sam’s memory.. 🤍 🕊️
None of this would be possible without everyone’s support, this is one of the reasons I do what I do, cover the ground I cover to raise awareness for such a special charity, it was an honour to be made an ambassador for the Fund 5 years ago, and it’s equally an honour to be part of a wonderful CF family… I will never ever forget Sam, I will continue to do my best to raise awareness and funds for The Comfort Fund and support those living with Cystic Fibrosis 🤍

I’VE FOUND A MOUSEHOLE…..⚽️
Okay it’s not a game, but when in Cornwall and after visiting Lands End, I couldn’t not take a trip to @MouseholeAFC for a look around…
Massively impressed with this set up, it’s somewhere I’m definitely going to have to plan to come back with Mrs #FW for another overnight stay for sure
Ground was open so was able to take a look round, nice stand behind the goal built in 2021, two different seating stands either side of each other, plenty of flags around the ground, obviously club house was shut, so wasn’t able to get a look around there, but this looks a great place to watch non league football….🙌🏼
Does this count as a tick off for a visit? Either way… definitely looking forward to coming back for a game!!

The day #FW began, sat in the back of the Frank Fairman stand writing about the match, no pics or videos back then… Shepton assistant Jon Burr pulled me at full time and said “where you going next. This is brilliant just what the league needs” that was the day #FW was born… 7 years of hard work,countless miles clocked up and support from clubs, fans and volunteers beyond my wildest dreams sees me where I am today…. Partnership with 3 leagues, 68 clubs using the #FW through sponsorship capacity, a nomination in the @The_FCAs this really has grown from strength to strength…

Honestly from start to finish yesterday was absolutely incredible…
Just want to extend my thanks again to the hosts @TSods some absolutely top class people at that club, and with their support aloud yesterday to be a huge success….🙌🏼🤍

Yesterday was about one thing and that’s everyone that battles with Cystic Fibrosis, and as a football family we were able to all come together and raise funds and awareness for the amazing @cfcf_bristol 🤍

Just want to wish all my #FW friends and followers a Happy New Year for 2025..
This year for me personally has seen me have my own struggles mentally, which I have kept to myself, but I’ve had some great people around me and hopefully I’m beginning a journey to better times.. #FW has been a great release for me and allows me to be myself and enjoy something away from the day to day realities, just want to personally say thank you to all the clubs, players, supporters who have gave me their time in 2024, you wouldn’t have known at the time but it’s really helped me and made a difference… let’s hope for a better year for me personally and look forward to seeing you at a ground in 2025…
