🚨 Major update on U.S. aid to Venezuela
According to a senior administration official, additional U.S.-funded mobile field hospitals are expected to become operational in Venezuela within the next 24 to 48 hours.
The official said that four U.S.-funded field hospitals are already up and running, providing critical medical services while much of the local hospital infrastructure remains damaged.
In addition, the United States has the capability to medically evacuate critically injured patients by helicopter and other aircraft to the USS Fort Lauderdale for advanced treatment if needed.
👉 Logistics have been one of the most critical components of the humanitarian response. Following repair and restoration efforts carried out by U.S. specialists and military personnel, Simón Bolívar International Airport is now receiving C-17 military transport aircraft, significantly expanding the United States’ ability to move mobile hospitals, personnel, humanitarian supplies, and heavy equipment into the country.
