There is a slight risk of severe weather along the MO/AR border through this evening. The primary concern is damaging winds and a brief tornado. Some heavy rain may also fall through tonight/Sat morning along the MO/AR border, with a Flood Watch in effect as a result. #arwx
There is a slight chance (2 of 5) of severe weather along the Arkansas and Missouri border this afternoon and evening. The primary concern is gusty winds but a brief tornado or two cannot be ruled out.

Another round of excessive rainfall appears possible over far northern Arkansas Friday night into Saturday. The greatest concern for flash flooding will include areas that have received over 2 inches of rainfall in the past 24 hours. Locally primed soils could quickly lead to flash flooding concerns where training storms occur.

A flood watch has been issued for counties along the Arkansas/Missouri border through Saturday morning. This area has had some heavy rainfall recently, and additional thunderstorms are forecast in this same area through this evening into the overnight hours. As a result, flash flooding may be possible through Saturday morning as additional heavy rainfall is possible.
