All of these are nonprofits I was invited to 'like' on Facebook started in the last year by people in my grade or one above. Most of these have the same goal. Joining an existing org is more effective. But no.

I completely agree, and I have nothing against the people in the pictures. But when there are already 20 organizations that do same thing and have grounding, making a new one has less value. Especially when the founders don't actually do anything, it's just to tick a box.

I use golang's 'if err !=nil' 27 times in a database abstraction that has 15-20 methods. Am I doing something wrong?

Whenever I go to LinkedIn now, I see tons of my HS connections just commenting 'yes' 'yay' and all sorts of stupid things on some random college freshman's post saying they are organizing internships with the big companies. As @sdan_io said, this is NOT the way to get internships

With gRPC’s new support for the xDS APIs, you can use Istio to manage workloads without running a sidecar proxy! Read all about it in this blog post from Google’s Steven Landow: istio.io/latest/blog/2021/pr…

I am very thankful for @goserverless. Earlier, I was using a custom makefile to deploy to a function, but I needed deployments. I started using the serverless framework with AWS, life got MUCH easier. For anyone starting with lambda, use the serverless framework.
