NFTs on ETH is like basketball in the 1950s yes it existed but it wasn't that great, it was slow, nobody could dunk, you were not allowed to palm the ball and the average joe didn't know how it all worked. NFTs on the IC is basically the showtime lakers.

@dfinity After the ETH integration a Filecoin integration would be awesome. Storing and streaming large media files on the IC is like playing basketball when you're short. You can be good but the 7ft guy is prob better

Hosting frontends on the IC is easy if you are doing basic web dev but if you are doing anything outside of that its damn near impossible. @dfinity make it easy to deploy web apps built with flutter, until then I'm going to host the landing page for FaeFolk on Digital Ocean

What we need are creative builders that aren't just copying and pasting ideas from ETH. What works on ETH won't work on the IC because of the size difference in $ and community. Unfortunately creativity is hard to find because most people are bag chasers instead of builders

@CigDao_ solves this by taking a novel approach. It counts each token as a vote and then burns all tokens used in vote. If you vote using 100 tokens those 100 tokens are burnt if you vote with 1 million tokens those 1 million tokens are burned
