Respectfully, you're comparing apples to oranges and not really being fair to Ray. What the Memeland team is building is different. It requires a different strategy, a longer time horizon to build a platform and various pieces in place before larger product activations. Look at what Yuga is building, same thing. None of this happens overnight and the unrealistic expectations of crypto and web3 puts all of these founders at a disadvantage. Web3 people bitching about projects like this just sound like a bunch of spoiled brats to me. Unfortunately, the lack of communication has turned against the Memeland team, and I will agree has poisoned the well. That said, those who still believe are holding strong and continue to buy at dips to increase their position. Plus, the second any sort of buy pressure kicks in, we see $MEME rally 18-20% in a blink of an eye. Let's not act like the volume isn't there when the markets rally, then you just like you're denying the truth. What Luca has done with Pudgys is truly amazing as an IP play.. What Ray is building with Memeland is more of a platform play, and by acquiring a company to put the MEME stock ticker on a publicly traded market, it's fundamentally different. Have you ever bought a publicly traded company, or done a SPAC? It is not easy bro, requires a TON of paperwork and due diligence with teams of people and regulators. And again, it's a completely different business model to what Luca is building. Both are great, but one takes a lot longer to realize and comes with a slow and steady approach. As an MVP and Super Crew, plus having a great relationship with Ray and CHAR, I can honestly say that what they are building requires a lot more than what other projects are tackling. Ray, Memeland team, and furthermore 9gag, are all rooted in the traditional startup world, not trying to chase unrealistic expectations like Kuengz did. Also, let's be clear, Kuengz did not bring Ray into web3, that's ridiculous. I own a manufacturing business and have done a lot of projects in collectibles and various IP categories. I'm launching Merch3 next year to support projects in the same fashion, with industrial 3D printing and manufacturing on-demand. What Luca is doing is a completely different business model, which is easier to stand up when you task partners such as PMI. Do you know who PMI is? What they do? How they bring IP categories to market? Because you're sitting here acting like the Pudgy team molded all these products, did the DFM processes for each figure, built out all the production scheduling, did all the material purchasing and handling, designed the boxes, negotiated with Walmart and other various retail partners... All of this was done by TEAMs of outside people that helped Luca bring his vision to life. I have been working closely with the Memeland team to get some similar opportunities in place, as I'm an expert in this field, but it has become clear that our products and services aren't tied to an IP opportunity, and require a different approach.. So it's a bit more complicated. Now, I do believe that can change, and hope to have a hand in that process with what I'm building for the Memeland, Pudgy and Bored Ape communities to come together. But it has to be understood that Ray is doing what Ray needs to do, it will not be based on your time horizon, it will be based on him and his vision. If that doesn't work for you, then you can sell your assets and come back later.. That's the beauty of trading and markets! Do you still drive the car you hate and then yell at people at red lights? Or do you buy a new car that makes you happy? That's fine too! Great things take time to build! Physicals, merch and toys are easy when you outsource everything to the pros, and they make it look simple. What Ray and Memeland are doing is not being outsourced to a manufacturer that handles everything. Have respect for the builders in the space man. Clearly Memeland is not a rug and has done more than most projects will ever do in this space, and you said it so yourself - Ray has barely even started yet! I'm a holder.. I'm a buyer.. I'm a believer.. I support Ray and Luca, along with all the other builders in our space. Respect! Yesterday was fun in HK! I had a blast going on the @GMShowofficial live to present @9gagceo the first ever physical MVP! This is a big moment for web3 as this MVP is the first fully immutable physical item to hit the Blockchain. You can easily duplicate any Azuki golden skateboard. My team can make a million fake pudgy plushies next week if we wanted, that all scan too. You cannot do that with this MVP Trophy. This physical collectible is 100% secure and protected. No QR or Barcodes. No NFC or RFID. No identifiable markings whatsoever, and yet this collectible item is fully traceable, immutable and verifiable with our embedded particle tech that secures it at the material level. You come in with your worthless .02 cents, acting like you're making some big shot claims (hindsight is always 20/20!), attacking other founders like @LucaNetz @frankdegods & @9gagceo, who are actually trying to build sustainability with their respective projects, and have stood up to all the criticism while supporting the people in their communities that still believe in this space. I've also been developing a proprietary traceability solution that allows us to embed a digital signature into any material. Forget NFCs and Barcodes, all of which can be copied. Azuki skateboards? I can make you 100 of the exact same one, it means nothing right now because every single existing technology can be reverse engineered and/or duplicated. These are the REAL problems our space has to solve. People like Beanie don't give a shit about this. People like me and these other founders, they do. Where do you think maturity comes from? I went to Toy Fair this weekend, to meet with partners I'm working with to bring Web3 to the masses, and I can tell you honestly that our space needs to get it's shit together fast! Our war isn't with each other in web3. Our battle is on the trade show floor where big businesses represent powerhouse IP portfolios and licensing deals are made. Beanie wants to hate on @LucaNetz for Pudgys landing in Walmart, but what Luca did was the first REAL win for our space, which has made in to the mainstream markets and literally proves web3 isn't all scams. Instead of calling out that he worked with PMI, which is a privilege to have such great partners, Beanie would rather take the negative approach and poo poo the actual examples we should be proud of. Why am I saying this? I'm telling you all this because I practice what I preach and I live by it. I'm not some WAGMI boy with blind faith in a vacuum chamber. I run towards the burning house, trying to help and save lives. People like Beanie do not. People like Beanie would step on your grandmother to save himself. You can always tell because they hide behind a keyboard or else they'd be going to jail for their own actions. If you're going to put a poster of someone on your wall from this space, it's not this guy. This guy ran away with his rail between his legs, when the going got tough in 2021, when all of HIS rugs started to come out. I lost almost 500k on a project that was "backed by Beanie" and then he suffocated it, berated the founders he invested in, criticized them as well, sucked all the liquidity from the projects and then moved onto his next grift, which became Wolf Game. If you're going to cancel someone, I nominate this buffoon. It's not a good look for our space and it sure as fuck doesn't help. This space has so much to offer. I believe in the good of it. But with the good, will always come the bad. And this is the bad. Who do you want on your wall as a kid? Michael Jorden, who defied all the people who said he'd never make it... Steve Jobs, the guy who built the most successful business in the world by "thinking differently"... Jeff Bezos, who lost money in his business for over 20 years to follow a vision that became the largest distributor in the world that is now Amazon? ........ ... Or this guy. Some dude in a rainbow beanie cap who hides behind a keyboard and fires shots from a dark corner of the internet? Seems like a pretty clear answer to me! And so I leave with... I put my money where my mouth is. Full disclosure here, I recently bought 100 ETH of Memeland assets because I am very bullish on $meme, I do believe in the team and our community of great people; and I am staking my bet on the future of SocialFi, with the products we're building to support the future of our space. I do my own homework and all of my work speaks for itself. I've been supporting builders in this space since 2021 and I practice what I preach. People want to talk about hopium.. I have tons of hopium that this space will grow the fuck up so we can move onto being professional and have some serious growth.
